'Are you happy?' This was the very first question asked to me by a stranger in the beautiful town of Portland Oregon. Confused and slightly amused with it, I answer in a soft tone, 'yes.' He then got a little too close for comfort, pointed a finger in my face and said, "Well fuck you! Cuz you're gonna get yer ass whooped harder than ever before!" Then, just kept on his way with his little dog. It took almost all of being to not laugh in this guys face, but regardless I thought it was an interesting first interaction with a local.
