Hi everyone again! Big news! Tonight after coming home from our walk, showering kids, etc.... Mia lost her first tooth! It has been wobbly well before we left home, but it got to the stage where we thought she couls swallow it. So I pulled it out. Basically it popped out by itself. Mia was very shocked but excited that finally she was in a league like Alex, the big girl league! Of course this made Sienna start to cry because she has not lost a tooth! Its a bit of deja vu! Sorry everyone, Take 3 with our London adventure! Some photos from England in the previous blog (the Blog with Paris text and London photos- oops!) Below is Alex's account of our week in London, with Mum typing! Using a western European keyboard, so please bare with me!! Friday We walked to Tower Bridge beside the Thames river. We walked past the Tower of London (where they they keep the crown jewels). Tower bridge is a bridge that opens up to let big ships sail up the Thames river. We climbed one the towers to the top and learnt about different bridges and how they are built. Different bridges include arch bridge, suspension bridge. We have spent an amazing 2 days in Paris! A cruise of the river seine and a double-decker bus tour of the city. The people were lovely and most spoke some English. Our hotel was cozy and actually quite quaint in true Parisian style. We saw all the sites. Eiffel tower was a true highlight! Stunning! We are currently at the airport in Paris, waiting to check in for our flight to Ljubljana. Parisians have been most hospitable and girls (mia and sienna) even told how beautiful they are! Alex and I typed for about an hour and a half a couple of days ago and for the life of me I can't seem to publish it! We finally arrived safely in London. Gee we really do live a long way away! Kids travelled brilliantly! We were so proud of them. They slept, ate, watched movies, played video games, coloured in and chatted! We are all exhausted though and looking toward to sleeping in beds and not in uncomfortable seats! We spent the evening, Thursday, with Marie (dame's sister) and a special bbq dinner together! Kids were so excited to see their auntie they nearly bowled her over in the foyer of our hotel! It really is fab to see her! We are staying at a hotel, just 10 mins from her house so we can see her after work when she goes back next week! Tomorrow we set out to see the sites of London!
