Hi everyone, hope you enjoyed the first instalment. We are doing our best to catch up and hope you enjoy reading about our continuing experiences in India. Day 6 - Tuesday 5 August 2008 We met this morning with Ruth Glashan, Superintendent of the girls’ cottages and staff, in which we have sketched out an approach to the work with the cottage staff. Each cottage houses up to 45 children of varying ages and the job looks particularly daunting. We hope to begin the training with this group. They appear very much like residential care staff in the UK and appear to be really keen to develop their knowledge and skills. We hope we will not let them down.
