It has been such fun reading your blogs. They were all so interesting(not only the one with Julia!).
You had a year of adventures and will have a lifetime of memories. Uh, oh, sounds cliche, but it's true.

Thank You!! Welcome home. I have so enjoyed your adventures over the past year and looked forward to the next installment every few months. Of course I will never be so lucky as to see these beautiful places, so you sharing has been wonderful. I wish you well and if you have more adventures, please include me in your blog.
Best wishes,
Phyl
Great blog Paul, well written and cool pictures. Keep writing, you will be glad you did. Reading it was especially enjoyable to me having done much the same Peru trip with your parents in 2008. I will ask them if you stayed at the same lodge as we did in the Amazon.
Where to next? I understand that you will be home soon. You have an experience that will be with you forever.
Your father sent me your blog. Sounds like you are having a fantastic time! What a great experience. Brings back memories of my trip with Kathryn to Machu Picchu...a magical place.
The Semana Cultural sounds intense! I bet it was just like OU TX, right?
Loved the story about your hike across Playa Carte. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you for a moment. Most exciting part of my day!
Have fun and stay safe, Pablo! And keep the good stories coming!

Fun in Douglas Woest and fam moving to Katy/Richmond area in August. We will be neighbors. Gonna start the landman band up and we need a frontman when you get back. We don't care if you're an Okie. Birth defect. Cain't hep it. We can do gigs in Houston, Russellville and OKie City.
Livin' the Life Paul,
What great life experiences you are having. Don't stop until you have to...maybe never. Sharon and I were in Pensacola Beach, FL for John English's Mom's wedding a few weeks ago. Maggie was with John and said to tell you Hello.
Keep all us old folks entertained by your wonderful travels.
Stay safe,
Bill and Sharon
You dog Wow. Thanks for the blog. It is great. I talked to Dave Trip just after his first hike up Laramie a couple weeks back. I also talk with Bryon and Rich now and then. I am having a ball buying rental houses and fixing them. This has so far kept me free from the need for the evil demon job. But, as jobs go, we had a great one.
Thanks again,
The Riv
Punta Allen I've been to Punta Allen too! That little town is a little slice of heaven. The best part about it are the unpaved roads. You almost feel like the entire town is related, like one huge family.
You remind me of your dad Hey Paul, It's really fun to read about all your travels. Have to say you resemble another handsome Schonwald man I used to know some 30 years ago. He liked to travel also. Take care and keep the blogs coming, we all love them. XOXO Timmye
