Keep 'em coming! Can't tell you how much we all enjoy your blog entries. Shawna and I were emailing, and we both said we get a little nervous when it's been more than a couple days between entries. Besides, they are so fun and interesting to read! It'll be 3 weeks tomorrow that you've been gone. Is it going fast or slow? It's supposed to be 104 in GJ today. How are you tolerating the heat/humidity there? Missing you.
Love, Mom
Beautiful! Your photographs are beautiful. Its great that you hand the camera off to someone else every once and awhile. That way we know it's really you. Thank you for all the details you've included in your blog. I love that you just go wherever your mood takes you. So different from the pace back home.
In awe and envy Hey, I am a desk jockey in Denver that has been reading your blog since you left. My friends and I are going to Laos, Cambodia and Thailand in May of '07. I really enjoy your blog and hope your trip goes well and is all you dreamed it'd be. My friends and I are living vicariously through your trip now. Thanks!
It's too bad that computer couldn't handle your photos-- sounds like an incredibly beautiful and dramatic area. I've been reading about it in the guide book. Hope your river journey is wonderful and safe. Sure miss being able to hear your voice!
Thanks for living vicariously for the rest of us Hey Steve, this is better than reading National Geographic. Maybe you should make a living as a travel writer; you're a natural. Guess the trick is finding someone to pay you to do it. Small detail, and one that you could no doubt work out.
I'm in awe of your nerve, which you certainly didn't inherit from me.
Happy Trails.
We've sent you a couple of email messages. Have you gotten them? Are you checking your email or just the blog comments? Please let us know. Be careful!
mmmkay.. The 4th here in the US wasn't the same without you. Your passion for fire and explosives was missed. Hey, I got the potato gun/launcher to work with hair spray... no one was injured. You are missed!!! but your room dowstairs (and half the garage) is already occupied (with a non-paying tenant). Have a great time in a van down by the river... Keep writing and posting pictures (if possible)

Whatever! Hey Steve - Diane was over for dinner tonight so we checked out your blog. She says that she knows exactly what you mean about Excel. I learned something from you - I had no idea that dirty eggs smelled any differently from clean eggs. Live and learn, I guess. Have fun and be careful.
The adventure begins! Glad to hear you finally got some sleep! We just received in the mail today the new Thailand Lonely Planet, so were able to read about Nong Khai and the Mut Mee guest house. Sure is great to hear where you are and what you're up to. Enjoy Vang Vieng and be careful if you venture into the caves-- bet your headlamp will come in handy!
Welcome to Thailand Sa wad dee ka.

"Welcome and have a good trip"
I guess you've read a lot from this site , so , no concern much to you.
Good luck and have fun ;D
Glad you made it! Steve, glad to hear you made it and the flights were good. We've been thinking about you alot. It's really quiet here with no boys gaming in the basement. Kev's still camping but should be home Friday. Keep us posted on your progress!
On a 50-day trip in Thailand and Laos. What am I even supposed to put in this box? It's not telling me. It's just a box that apparantly needs some words. Fine. I'm 5'9, I think 1/4 Swedish, 21 years old, took two weeks of Judo in 6th grade, watch out.... full info
