So good to hear from you again, Oli and Lisa. Just talked to Janie and she thinks that you will be leaving to go home on Sunday. I am going to miss reading about your travels . You have really done a good thing to do all of the writing. Yes, I saw your Texas shirt Oli. Did you have any comments on it?You can see why you need to be young to do all of the walking and adventures in a new country. I am so glad you went and you will always remember the experience in Brisbane with all of the water. Have a fun time when you get to Shanghai. That is a fabulous airport ! Love from Phyllis

Koalas etc
You sound as though you are having a fantastic time. Cat and I are particularly envious of the koala hugging experience - I could live without the water rides, mind you. Judging from the news, it sounds as though you are having a huge amount of rain and floods around Brisbane. Sounds a bit scary so hope its not affecting you too much. I feel that you were not impressed with the penguins: "some standard penguins" but glad you are having a good time... looks amazing. Keep trying with the tan - knowing you, I'm sure you will be out in that bikini at the hint of sunshine. Looking forward to the next blog already xxx

Great photos you are certainly getting around. What is Steves address so we can look on Google earth. Couldnt find your Deluxe cabin, or wet and wild, but followed the road trip from Brisbane. Sorry you have had some rain, but so have many unfortunate people north of you, it is horrific on the news. We came back to cold and rain, and they say snow this weekend. Take care but have a wonderful time, hope you can stick to the programme.

We are home again.
Loved to read the news and see the pictures, so pleased you are having a great time. You were lucky to handle the koalas, albeit for a short time. Hope you are clear of the floods they look horrific on TV. when we were there they had fires, it really is a continent of extremes, so big we can't imagine it. Did you climb the bridge? Or have we missed it. Gramp has just found out there are different blogs!! We are now up to date. We arrived back home today, in the wet, calm seas all the time, thankfully. Nice weather and wonderful fireworks in Madeira, who are trying to compete with Sydney. Diet starts tomorrow for us. Dont eat too many prawns or you will turn pink. You found our favourite bus in Sydney, cheapest fare in town. Will write again soon, take care. Love Mama and Gramp
