So after the four day tour,I had 10 days left at the station. Our group was slowly departing, the loss of Phil being the first. More drinks at the station bar for Nush´s leaving do,too many games of Ring of Fire for my liking and the loss of Mel at the weekend lead me to think that I wanted to leave a couple of days early,headback to Qutio and do some sightseeing around the area before the beginning of my next tour. Apologes for the major tardiness with the blog. It´s been a crazy couple of weeks but thats why I love it here. Firstly, celebrations for Alycat´s birthday took place on the weekend of the 24th Oct, many a mojito consumed with the final destination being Iguana Rock (where else!!) and an unfortunate meeting with Notorius PIG and his mate Vin Doll, you know who you are boys!!! Well I´ve been away for 2 weeks now and I´m finally getting into it. Have had a hard week the past week, realisation of were I am, frustration about the isolation, lack of electricity and home comforts and the expoential level of mud and bugs but it´s amazing what a couple of days can do to change your thoughts, especially since the arrival of Cesar, the staions owner and all round Galapogean wonder. Hola once more, I´ve made it to the Galapagos and finally dipped a toe in the Pacific Ocean. My bag arrived on Wed morning at twenty passed 7am, then I hot footed it to the national airport to check in for my Galapagos flight for seven thirty so I had it in my possession for a total of ten minutes. The reunion at the airport was quite an emotional one to say the least! Hola gringoes, Well I´ve arrived so I mega proud I´ve managed to have finally get here all my myself. Unfortunately, my luggage has not which was a shitty end to a shitty flight. Up to Madrid I was rocking, met somebody who was doing a Gap adventure tour on the Heathrow-Madrid flight so had a few drinks with him. Then I arrived in Madrid airport.
