last year this time looking forward to finding out about those 3 months a year ago. It must have been so exciting and remembering it will bring back many of those feelings. I will enjoy the journey back in time.
Mali Hi Celina
I am one of the CWY volunteers this year in Karadje and I remember that before going on this trip I had seen your blog once.
I am pretty sure you were Sally in Karadje last year and I just wanted to let you know that Karadje still loves you and remembers you well. Koni showed us some pictures you sent her so that was really cool.
Anyways, dont mean to freak you out but just let you know that the village really appreciate you a lot.

On s'arrange quand même. Ce sera bientôt Noël. Vous serez de retour dans vos familles. On a hâte de vous lire. Grosses bises de Ginette, Gérald,Julius et Nounette. XXX
Wowee Dear Celina,
You are so cool! I still cant believe all the amazing experiences you are having these days. And you are far away in a wee Mali village of 750 people! I hope everything is great where you are! Take lots of pictures.
Should I try and send something to that adress you posted? Or is there a more specific location to send it to you?
Miss you and sending huggy lovin' vibes,
Emily
Celina - I just have the sense that you are about to step into the most extraordinary chapter in your life. Keep a diary!! I will miss your blog entries but look forward to occasional updates however they may come. I know you will make the best of this adventure and I am thrilled for you. Do take care of yourself. We all need you back here one, full of stories but day safe and sound. Jackie
au revoir Well Montreal today, Africa ... on Monday. WOW! I expect you will be busy in Montreal but if you want to give Gita a buzz 514 813-0508. I find it wonderful to read your first blog entries and now this one. You have grown so in your attitude and acceptance. All this has prepared you for the more dramatic cultural shift ahead. You ARE ready and it will be fascinating. Thanks for the address. Let you Mom and Dad know when you do receive mail.
Adieu et a toute a l'heure Celina. Tootaloo. Admiring you, Joni
Hey Celina, this sounds so wonderful. I'm especially glad things are working so well with your host family. I once spoke to the manager of the farm in Ghana where Aden spent a year working. She wasn't around and I was feeling anxious. "No, no" he said. "Everything smooth!" That phrase became a family thing for us. So, glad to hear "everything smooth!" Good luck in Africa!! Jackie
so excited! Hey Celina! It's so nice that your parents came to see you.. and so cool that your dad showed Sadio pictures from the Guat! I can't wait to hear about Mali! the countdown is on! <3
Great Initiative Hey Celina,
I'm so happy that you had a vent fest with some of the other people in the group. Its soo important. Its funny how Katimavik and Canada World Youth are so similar and yet wen it coes to group living they are completely different. But taking the initiative to talk to everyone is impoartant, obviously everyone is at the "why am i here, what does this all mean, how is this helping"stage, Its funny how both programs force a lot of intrespection...if that is even a word. I love your blog, I cant believe i havent read it since the first entry. Your strong and beautiful and I'm so proud of you for remaining dedicated. Also "The Malian's said they didn't know what Canada was, that they would return to Mali only knowing a secluded farm in the country" ouch.
C C!! CELINA! Your blog has put a huge smile on my face. I am so happy that you have this amazing oppertunity! After reading your blogs it seems you have made great progress with everything, being positive with washing mirros and staking sticks and conversing with Sadio. You are learning so much from your work placement and the people around you, it is an oppertunity of a life time! Soak in every moment! Miss ya! Tyty. (ps, the pics are awesome!)
Dear lovely Celina, It's so nice to be able to read your blog. It sounds like you're having a great experience! Keep up the positive outlook :) Looking forward to hearing more!
La joie de vivre Bonjour Celina,
Allo Celina,
Bonne chance :-)
Ron
yoga of small steps Wow, that sounds like learning to make friends gradually. On the Farm, we used to call the life you describe a yoga--something hard to get along with or hard to accept. But that you learn from, not necessarily knowing what you will be learning! It must be hard for Sadiou too, being in a whole new culture. Well, you're both in a new culture, at least she is Francophone??
Looks like Fun! Hi Celina,
Looks like you are having fun so far, and what a handsome group of people!
I'll be watching for your progress--have fun and stay safe.

Great to hear from you Hi Celina
Sure is nice to see these pictures. What a wonderful adventure.
Ezra, Frances, Mum, and I went swimming yesterday in Christie Lake, still very chilly.

:) Hi Celina,
It sounds like this is going to be a growth experience extraordinaire! Not so easy, but really rich and exciting. Your blog sort of reminds me of when I go hiking and it's a tough day of travel with my gear on my back, but it still feels great! I've never been able to explain that one to myself.
All the best of everything!
Love,
Nicola
Bonjour!! Celina, I'm so excited that your blog is up, and I can't wait to hear more about your adventures! :) I bet you will not want to leave by the end of it all
