Wow.... finally back home. That trip went by very quickly. Now that I can finally sit down in peace, I will fill in everything that I never put up on this blog. MIAMI: Amazing tropical city. Humidity was killer. We stayed at the Biscayne Bay Hotel which was beautiful. When you go out on the streets of Miami, all you see is green. There is SO much growth everywhere; palm trees, plants, flowers, vines on buildings. Miami itself is growing; everywhere you go, you see new buildings under construction. The University of Miami, itself, is no less beautiful; everyone wears shorts [View Full Entry]

Welcome to Kansas City! I didn't have internet for a while in Miami so I couldn't keep everything updated. I took a lot of pictures, but then I realized that I didn't have the wire to connect the camera to the computer (I'll just show them once I come back). I just flew from Miami to Kansas City (the tropical paradise to the freezing snow). Both of these cities are VERY different, but both have their pros and cons. I hung out on the K.C. plaza tonight; it was pretty fun. The rest of the weekend will most likely be spent [View Full Entry]

No one has school, so I went and visited my other cousins home for dinner. They live in a town called Edison. If you ask an Indian person whether they know of this town, they will say yes. Edison, NJ is the Indian capital of the United States. SOOOO many Indian people call Edison their home or place of business. It is pretty much little India. I walked the streets of it, and all I saw was Indian shops (and a random bowling lane). The whole entire apartment complex in which my aunt and uncle lived was filled with nothing but [View Full Entry]

Visiting

North America » United States » New Jersey
Today was a blur. I stayed up with my cousin until 5 in the morning, and then slept at his place. When I woke up at noon, I was quickly dragged off to the first destination of the day, where I had a nice lunch with people I hadn't seen in years or had never met in my life. I then started touring the state - visiting house after house after house of people who somehow knew me, but I didn't know them. They kept commenting on "how much I've grown." I felt like Harry Potter. I finally came home at [View Full Entry]

Today, I woke up at 5am to wear a suit and drive from my relatives home in New Jersey to Philly. Once we found the building, I went and signed in, and then was given a presentation and tour of the school. I wasn't surprised to find that literally 70%+ of the 20-30 students there for the interview were Indians: a lot of brown people. Afterwards came the interview, I think it went well. The school, at noon, provided lunch for all the applicants. You would think that because a large majority of the applicants were Indian, the school would have [View Full Entry]

Arrived to my destination after a long 15 hour journey. Completely tired. Saw a lot of things on the way. While driving to San Jose, we had pit stop at a place called Casa de Fruta. Nice place for pit stop - a little fruity, but still good. Once we got to San Jose Int'l Airport, we flew to Las Vegas where I chilled in the terminal watching my dad hit the in-terminal slot machines for about 5 min. He lost a dollar on the machines. The flight to Philly was mad boring; they had a movie on, but you had [View Full Entry]
