Crazy Canadian Hey Matt. Sorry took me so long to get around to leaving some comments. Your blog is humorous and enjoyable to read. It always brightens my day to find that you have seen some possible stabbing and made it through. I hope the trip is going well. I have to go now, for I am bleeding from working on a friends car.
P.S. I want a mini-watermelon!
Back On Line Hey Matt!
I haven't been at work since October, and so no news. Great to read and see your pictures. A really interesting peek into your experience.
I think that you will find Australia a culture shock after so much time in Tokyo. Are you able to speak a bit of Japanese now?
Thanks for the great blog.
comments need a title? glad to see some updates... had been a while since i checked out your adventures.
keep it up, was cool to see you in pictures with some of your students.
what are some of your other expenses? you've talked about food, but how about accomodations and travel?
chopsticks I gotta get myself some of those "designer" chopsticks. I can just imagine the looks if you go to sushi and pull out your fancy fancy chopsticks. :)
So how much time do you have left in Japan?
It's about time you sent something out. Thought you got jumped by some thugs in japan and sold to the black market or something...haha... on a serious note...good to see you are enjoying yourself.
Hey Matt!
Great to hear from you and that you are surviving the frigid weather. Too bad about Thailand. Hope that all is still going well for you and that you had a good Christmas. It is strange being away from home, isn't it? Take care and we are still thinking of you.
Em and Trev (oh yeah, we had a little girl on December 20th. Her name is Claire.)
More Updates Show some pictures of some hot Japanese girls. They do it to me, everytime.
By the way, great stuff so far, but I want to see pictures of that crazy looking guy!
And I think we all want to see an update - it's been over 2 weeks!
Cheers from EA!
gorgeous photos Matt,
These photo's are wonderful, that photography class really paid off! I'm going to paint some of them, what a beautiful place.
Mom.
- This isn't Hirohito's Palace Garden. I believe those are near the palace in Central Tokyo. I'm not sure how open to tourists that area is. Many people can speak at least a little bit of English, and the train system is designed in a way that makes it quite easy to get around. I think I'll be heading to the farm around September 15th, but I'm not entirely sure yet. I can survive on about $15 a day here, including lodging, so monetary conditions are not forcing me to leave anytime soon.
Hey there! Hi Matt,
Really enjoying getting your updates. It looks like you are managing to get around such a foreign place. Do you find that people speak a little bit of english or are you quite isolated? When do you go off to Canada Farm?
Well, hope you are having a good time and look forward to the next installment.
: ) Em
Wowzees It's great to see the lovely pictures Matt! Ken wants to know if it is Hirohito's Palace Gardens.
Write more about what your duties are,the food and the people you are meeting ok?
Good luck,
Love A. Jill
