After spending an uneventful night in a suburb of Bangkok near the airport, I now find myself in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and on Ho Chi Minh's birthday none the less! I'm just starting to get the swing of things here, most importantly crossing the street. All of the Vietnamese I have met so far have been extremely nice, but it seems they're all a little off their rocker when it comes to driving. The streets here are a seething mass of motorbikes, scooters and cyclos (little three wheeled bike taxis you can hire). Roads are literally packed wall to wall and for the most part the rules of the road have been replaced by excessive horn usage.
