Alright. Im alive and well and off to Kruger National Park for a 4 day tour. The first day was a blast visiting the Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondovals, and Moholoholo rehabilitation center. The Blyde river canyon is the third largest crack on the planet and largest green canyon, meaning it is teeming with life supporting everything A rondoval is a round house with a thatched roof. The local Xhosa people build these huts with bricks made of mud, clay, straw, cow dung, etc. You see them everywhere. Reminiscent of Ireland actually…but the mountain structures you see in the pics look like the thatched roofs of rondovals seen all around hence the namesake.
