Safe Journey Megan, Wow, what adventures you have had! The images are beautiful. Enjoy your time off from studies and take it all in...you will soon be back in Seattle. Hopefully, by the time you arrive, we will be having some real summer weather. Hugs, Linda
You look wonderful! Megie,
You are looking terrific and we are eager to see you at the Lake in August. Your walkabout sounded so good, I got to see only the tourist part when I was there. Enjoy your Queensland adventures and I hope to get up there one of these days. Let us know how the fun travel is going and we look forward to more news as you move on to new territory.
Hugs and lots of love,
G Mum
Can't believe the trip has gone this fast! The Blue Mountains look spectacular! Looking forward to having you back in Seattle for your "summer" and the end of the Nordstrom Sale (hee hee). I have the VEGAMITE and the Nutella in the cupboard!! What a wonderful experience it was to travel with you in Sydney :) Where to for the next adventure?!
Safe travels for the next month or so. See you soon.
Love, MUM
Cool pics. Hi Megan,
I'm glad to see you are having such a nice time in Australia. Thanks for sending along those pictures. They are very nice and make me jealous that I'm not there. Keep up the good work.
-Uncle Jim
I'm jealous Australian seems to be treating you well (except for the rain in Melbourne) and Thailand sounds very exciting. Hope you continue to have a gas during the rest of your time down under.
Sue and I went to see Maddi play tennis against Eastlake last week. She's coming along. Somehow, she's gotten much more agressive on the court than she used to be (a good thing).
Sue and I leave for 4 weeks in the Southwest US very soon (early May) so we'll have a little play time before we see you again.
Keep having fun!
Gary
When in Rome................ Hey Megan - I am so happy to hear you are alive and well down under! Those mozies sound worse than the black flies we have in Vermont that eat you up every time you visit. It sounds like the same stuff you pack to come to VT with you should bring to Australia too! Bug spray and sunscreen! We got a choc. lab puppy this week . Her name is Keyra. You will get to meet her this summer. TTFN ~Ellen~
Bring me home a bottle tree That bottle tree was totally cool! Thanks for taking the time to write details, it was all very interesting. I can't believe you have TEN days off at Easter! Maddi and Bill would be jealous.
We are going to Atlanta for the Easter weekend (so Bill can see a Thrashers vs. Caps hockey game!)
Glad to hear your bites and scrapes are healing.
Happy St. Patty's Day!!
Love, Aunt B
Way to go, Megan Megan, Loved your latest entry in your blog, sound as though you are adjusting well to Sydney and I hope you are meeting lots of Aussies in your classes. Have you learned to look left when crossing the street? Glad the mozies are healing, and next time we need a close up picture.
Love, G and G
Sounds like so much fun! So, it looks like my daughter-in-law is doing well. We're glad you have gotten settled and having so much fun! Everyone here is doing well. Conner has finals next week! Take care! Love, Al and the guys
Looking Good! Megan,
Thanks for the update and also for the great post card. Sue and I had dinner last night with your mom and Steve who are doing well. Your mom is really looking forward to visiting you in May.
Sue and I are fine. We bought a new car. What kind?........ Blue. You'll see when you get back. Keep enjoying!

Say hello to my cousins in Perth -- a bit of a trek from where you are!!
love and hugs...
UP! What's it like living with everything upside down? Glad to hear all is going well so far. Hope you get a chance to go see Buff Hungerland. I think she's in great surfing territory.
Gary
Kangaroos run wild? Megan: great photos! Thanks for including the Sydney Opera House for the architects among us. I was surprised to hear that kangaroos wander around freely in Sydney. Don't let school interfere too much with your surfing!
Southern Cross Meggie,
Have you been able to spot the Southern Cross in the sky? It is one of my favorite star formations. The Southern Cross is the star formation on the Australian flag and can only be seen in the Southern Hemisphere. I learned today, that your area was redeveloped for the 2000 Olympics. He also told me that he stayed at a small hotel on Pitt Street, and in the Bondi Junction area.
Hope to get more news from you soon. Have you tried Vegemite?
Love, G Sally
Hey Megan, it looks like you are having alot of fun down there. Your pictures are great so far. I love the one of the opera house. Looks great. Can't wait to see more :) Talk to ya soon
Important Stuff Hey Megan!
I see they don't use upper case letters in Australia either....hmmm!
I'm glad you've got a place to live and I think it sounds exciting living in a high rise.
Important question....has your stash of granola bars run out yet or have you had to each actual Australian food? How are the vegemite sandwiches? Do they have PEEPS there?
Keep posting. Keep surfing. Keep smiling.
Love, Aunt Boonie
Thanks for the photos The photos are great!! Your views look amazing! There is an article in the Sunday NY Times about Bondi and Manly and the rock pools. Love those mosquito bites!!! Is calamine lotion PINK in Australia?!
Love, Mumsie
Thinking of you Megan,
I found you need to subscribe to get an email of your new blog entries. We look forward to hearing about what you are eating. Can you cook in the hostel? Hope the O week is going well and that you meet at least a few Aussies. Did you buy Aussie sunscreen?
Love, G Sally
From the Oxen Hey Meggie, Have you waltzed with Matilda? Have you seen a dingo? Have you found Billy's Bong? (If you do, keep it).
