These photos were taken on 24-26th of May 2006. We arrived in Bohol a few days after the storm/typhoon have passed. It's usually very sunny in the morning & it gets cloudy in the afternoon and then it rains at night. We went on a weekday so it wasn't packed, which is actually a good thing. On our last day, the resort was teeming with guests (huge families) checking in. Seems to be an ideal family getaway in Panglao Island. These photos were taken during my 4-day stopover in Singapore with my bf last 23-26 of October 2007. Let me just say this first.... IT. IS. EFFIN. HOT. AND. HUMID. IN. SINGAPORE. No matter how straight my hair was inside the hotel but by the time I get out, it'll frizz up like crazy. LoL Shopping is more expensive here than in Australia but food's really cheap. Well maybe dining hawker-style. When we arrived, we just rested in the hotel and explored Orchard Road & window-shopped. A very old beach resort, popular for families who like to spend their weekends together locally. I remember coming here all the time when I was young. The resort itself is clean, the water is not your usual white sand & crystal clear blue water. The sand itself if black due to the island's volcanic origins. [View Full Entry]

We arrived in Bohol via OceanJet ferry. Upon arrival our driver & tour guide came to meet us. Took us to our resort, The Bohol Beach Club, checked in, rested for 30 minutes before commencing our countryside tour. We were first taken to the Blood Compact Site then to Baclayon Church before heading to Loboc River for the buffet lunch river cruise.
