Originally, Kim did not want to do any cruises this winter. We want to replace our deck and she has some big, big plans. In order to save some money, were not planning on any vacations this upcoming year. However, as we got closer to Thanksgiving, Kim was changing her mind. She had been talking with her ex-in-laws about another Christmas cruise, but none of them want to be away on Christmas Day. We are OK with being away on that day. The cruise options are Christmas Day or extending into the first week of January. Neither were going to work for everyone, so I decided on surprising Kim by doing one over Christmas Day for just us.
