Morocco Yes indeed. I have wanted to visit for a long long time. India kept me away I guess... so the universe intervened (as it tends to do) and gave me the India Visa problem to steer me to a new adventure. Really a nice laid back country .. Hope you guys are well and smiling :)
Thanks for this interest blog. I am intrigued by Moroccan artisans and craftsmen and their work such as you have seen, and I'm sure I could watch them for hours without becoming bored. Handmade furniture, jewelry, paintings and such may not always be exactly perfect, yet I find them totally perfect in my eyes. Will be in Meknes for only a matter of hours this fall, but hope that I get the opportunity to see some of these craftsmen. I'm sure I will not be able to come home without one of their exceptional works of art.
Meknes Well... use those hours well. I suspect you are though going to visit Volubilis and Moulay Idriss Zafoun? Fez of course, but for my money and time, Meknes is a great place to stay some days. Hope you enjoy Morocco. I did a blog on Tafraout and also on Imlil.. both recommended as well. Good journey... keep that travel infection festering :)
Magnificent Morocco Thank you, as always Paul. I feel very privileged 'travelling' with you. Incredibly unique places that you have shown us on this adventure. (I'm not sure why, but I have only just seen this blog :) ) More travel hugs - Marguerite
9 days and moving on Sounds like another nice village. Finding peace within. No matter how frugal you travel others will always question how that can be done.
Great to see you blogging again "Whatever is the next thing for me?"... always the good question. You spent a good deal of time in India learning to be in the present so now you can embrace those learnings in Morocco. Lessons learned and learning. As always you've found an off the beaten path location of beauty. We loved our time in Morocco. Eager to find out what is next.
Life is nuts, and at best a mystery in the end. Looking/ seeing without the need to dissect and name and 'know' is a discipline born from this mystery, and the reward is just sheer amazement at it all You stayed long enough to take it all in...and how lucky were you that the bustle of time could stand still long enough for you to do so.
India Hi _ I do not know if you remember me, but I have been following your blog for some time and once when I was visiting Pushkar, I met you. So, what is your situation with India? Are they going to let you back in there?
Wildlife in Spiti valley Beautiful writeup..Do check my blog on wildlife in Spiti valley. https://raachotrekkers.com/spiti-snow-leopard-trail-winter-in-kinnaur-spiti/

"Balance is the answer I suppose" This looks like a beautiful little pocket of Morocco. And I like the sound of amlou - definitely need to try that. That word 'balance'...sounds so simple, but it certainly can be a slippery little sucker :) Good luck with the Indian visa!
Love Tafraout Hi Paul
Also i loved Tafraoute very much. Your describtion of the area is absilutly perfect.
I travelled trouh whole Marocco but never found any place, which can compede.
It was ver nice, and i am very happy to meet you. Tanks, Ernst _()_ _()_ _()_
WHEN THERE WAS NO RAM ....SCIENCE HOW CAN THERE BE RAM-MANDIR ?? Archeology survey of India / Sadguru / Waman Meshram / Ram Puniyani
Dude there is not anything like Hindu do you know history ??
How can there be anything like Hinduvta or Hindu Rashtray when Hindu word is given by Muslims.
It is your illiteracy and arrogance that, you think anything like Hinduism exists.
The day education prevails Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, all will vanish except pure obedience of God.
Rather, Muslim kings created Hinduism and gave it it’s name, (which was nameless before) to ease their integration, recognition and control because Hindus were disintegrated, scattered, uncivilized people, worshiping humans, animals and animo-humans as almighty God.
Just think, do Ram knows Hinduism or even word Hindu ?
Not just Ram, Krishna, Arjun, Lakshman, Ravan.
Do they even knows the word ""Hindu"" or even Sanatan Dharma ??
Because these teaching and book never existed at that time…., why? you know more than me.
Do Ram knows books Veds Simrities, Puranas Ithaas ??
He don’t even know these words or even language Sanskrit.
The literature of Hinduism was compiled on imagination and corrupted stories (Kalpanik), our sciences and consciousness teaches us this, until you kill and strangles your consciousness, you can’t accept Hinduism.
Did Kaladias or Walt Mickey ever met Ram or a person who met Ram ??
If you accept Hinduism you can’t be scientific and if you are Scientific you can’t be Hindu.
Unless and until you have dual or biased or have partial nature, sometime scientific and sometime Hindu.
Supreme Court is bound to be scientific / logic
And science can never prove Ram, and to prove Ram, Hanuman should exist.
Ramayana God trapped / locked in its own trap / falsehood.
NO HANUMAN MEANS …NO RAM, SO NO RAMAYANA.
SO NO QUESTION OF RAM MANDIR.
IF SUPREME COURT PASS VERDICT OF RAM-MANDIR THEN IT PROVES, COURT DO PASS UNSCIENTIFIC AND SO, UNJUST SENTENCES.
IT IS DUTY OF SUPREME COURT OR ANY COURT TO ABOLISH, ABORT SUPERSTITION AND ENCOURAGE AND ENDORSE SCIENCE LOGIC.
If every human on earth believes (aastha / Bhavna) there are no Atom and Electron and Protons, but only one scientist proved it by his experiment, Supreme Court or any court should endorse that scientist, and should abolishing believes (aastha / bhavna) of all.
Narmadehar... Hariom Mahadev...hope youre fine...i will be in maheshwar 15.Dec.18...hope to see you this winterseason in maheshwar...all the best..rene...Narmade har
No Visa Hi Rene. Sorry for such a late reply. I had so hoped to make it to Mahaheshwar this winter BUT.... my Indian Visa application was rejected. A long story and I am sure solvable if I could just get someone in the Indian bureaucracy to respond to me. I am in Morocco meanwhile (see latest blog)... but I may have to return to Australia to get this sorted.... maybe next year we will meet... Narmadeo hare bhai
I’m there! Glad to see you are writing again. You paint such a vivid picture, I feel I am there with you, chatting to Raju (maybe I’m his kind of girl?), eating the egg parantha, admiring the deteriorating wooden carvings. Enjoyed it very much. Love to you Paul.
still here well yes... had bloggers block for a while ... but I find it takes me to go to a new place to inspire a blog... doesn't happen just sitting on my mountain (although I have blogged about all that so it's kinda done) . Gladys the wonder bike is now 8 years old... done over 85000 km in India (with me)..... and runs better than the day I took her home from the display floor. Mind you... she hardly has too much authentic original parts ... lots of maintenance and replacements along the way. And... so far (touch wood) no major incidents. BUT.... I grow old I grow old..... and she is getting heavy and sometimes I do make a poor decision.... but hey we all do with many things I guess. Hope you guys are well ... :)

We really enjoyed Morocco. Meknes is lovely. We love the Moroccan people. We became pretty good at bartering.
