Paul Leonard Newman (January 26, 1925 - September 26, 2008) It's a rare and wonderful thing to catch a glimpse of Hollywood royalty. And it's even better to have the opportunity to photograph them. It makes me sad to hear of the death of Paul Newman. My sympathies go out to his family, his friends and his fans. My encounter with this man was brief...but memorable. The Missions of San Antonio I have a picture in my mind: there’s this little Franciscan monk wearing a black robe. He has a fringe of hair around an odd-looking bald spot.
