Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hi Jane,
From the photos in your space I know that you are having a great time out there.
Miss you a lot these days because of Christmas holiday and Chinese new year.
Best wishes for you!
Take care.
Vivian
Wonderful Loved the old village scenes and the views. The B&B looks nice and comfy. We were in Provence a few years ago and I loved that area. Would have loved to spend some quality time there.
PICCIES Your photos are really good Jane. The photography course has really paid off.
You're going into summer, which means us here in Canberra are well on the way to winter - frosts and ice on the windscreen!
hi aussie. you need at least a 2 weeks up there.
then go from the lowland (Glasgow/Edinburgh) to the highland. the old capital of Scotland, (do you know the name?) they speak even better english there than in london lolol. the spring is here (in Iceland) even a wee summer. wonder if you like to get a cam address from iceland ? take care stay happy. love from us
Mar and Erna
picpocketed whilst drunk on Sangria Do take care Jane whilst you are in Spain-'specially Barcelona where so many tourists get their gear stolen. Mind you it's so wonderful to be in Spain , one nearly doesn't mind it!
Makeup?! The fact that you're wearing makeup is basically the only thing I took with me from this post!!! What's next? A skirt?!
Love the London life update.
overlanders Jannie, despite it now being more than just a few years since Anne and I went on our trip, give me an idea as to who your thinking of doing your overland with, and from where. we can discuss horror stories on the phone. save you beer money girl!!!
Michael.
Everyday Life in London hello J. happy new year and may it give you all the best.
most guys are a like "as you say the englismen are" but they are nicer than most, but danish are the best.
Wonder do you not dare to go higher up than Scotland? lololo i do take a wee look at your travel blog time to time and did read, Africa is coming up (down),
Well we are here and now we have a real icelandic weather, like the old days, and the diffr. is the radio, now they say stay home, do not drive etc but in the old days, we did walk to school, drive to work and go at sea. well stay happy live the live a live. with love from us
Peak District This entry brings back memories of the Peak District and Yorkshire - such a beautiful area - except if you are trying to find a place to stay for the night. Love the words of wisdom too to the young one.
Why am I the only one making comment?
You know generally, I am not interested in other peoples' travels. I've read yours with interest, not necessarily to do with what you've seen, but how you perceive it and your impressions of what you've seen... Travel is great educator
and the score is? i know you were not travelling to London direct.
But are you keeping up with the football scores ?
actually you have the latest ones by the time you read this.
i hope....
An Aussie living in London and getting out it as much as possible to explore all the amazing places both in the UK and abroad. While I may be quite settled in the UK, my feet never seem to settle and my wandering heart drags me all over the globe and back to some well loved areas.
My blogs are a personal record of where I've been and I often let the photos do most of the talking, but I do try and share detials if I found something amazing. My list of places to visit never seem to get any shorter (even if the blogs do!).... full info
