Fabulous experience It was definitly up and down and always a challenge to see how much mud you could get over your boots each day. What a wonderful experience to do it with a great friend and something I will never forget. I think we certainly had our share of good and bad Tasmanian weather but I wouldn't have swapped it for anything.

Some details about Llanddeusant YHA Here are some details for people interested in visiting YHA Llanddeusant:
Set in the least developed area of the Brecon Beacons, the hostel overlooks the magical Sawdde Valley. There are trails that lead up to the legendary Llyn y Fan glacial lake and the heights of the Carmarthen Fans. It is also possible to find circular walks that will take you to an Iron Age fort, Roman camps and standing stones nearby.
The hostel retains many of its original features having once been an Inn dating back to 1789, and you are sure to receive a warm welcome with an open fire in the lounge if it's particularly cold.
The Black Mountain Red Kite feeding station is a mile away.
Hope this helps

Great Photos Great photos Jane and commentary, I wish I was in Wales with you. You will be an expert in the Welsh countryside soon. At least you could tell them how to pronounce names with a 'll'.
see you soon.
Cheers
Helen
Oglaigh Na hEireanne The memorial was beautiful and I made a small donation to help pay for upkeep or for victim's families. Just a support gift. I would like to have known Peter McCollough. I appreciate the achievements of the Sinn Fein. Seoirse.
An Aussie living in London and getting out it as much as possible to explore all the amazing places both in the UK and abroad. While I may be quite settled in the UK, my feet never seem to settle and my wandering heart drags me all over the globe and back to some well loved areas.
My blogs are a personal record of where I've been and I often let the photos do most of the talking, but I do try and share detials if I found something amazing. My list of places to visit never seem to get any shorter (even if the blogs do!).... full info
