What a cute puppy!! That's a really cute puppy!! Would it get really big or stay small like a chihuahua? It would be hard to shop with all those aggressive sales people. Hope you could find some good things to buy because the dollar is not very strong. Steve got us jade and fresh water pearls when he was there. Time is going by so quickly - enjoy what you have left!!
Love, Aunty Ellen
Duck's blood sounds good now! Hi, Lihau: I can't believe that you ate the fried scorpions! You really are adventurous!! I was impressed with the duck's blood but now I'm really impressed! We saw those on the Amazing Race and I told Steve that he would have had to do that if we were on the show! What is really scary is how many scorpions they have available!!! And that they're still alive when they sell them!!! Why do they do that? Will the freshness disappear if they kill them first so they won't be so crunchy? I think it is for the fear, disgust and reaction of the tourists, don't you? I really don't know if I could do that but I'm proud of you and your friends to have done it! Love, Aunty Ellen
Yum, Yum! Hi, Lihau: I was wondering when your next blog would arrive - I look forward to reading them! Today is Grandma's birthday so think of her while you're doing your adventures. I'm glad there are some foods you enjoy and I'm really impressed that you actually ate the duck's blood! I don't know if I could have been that brave! Some of the foods sounded really good. Love you, Aunty Ellen
Sounds like you had a great time - I wish you had a picture of the giant donkeys, Lihau! That monkey was pretty big - especially if he became mean. It's a good thing you guys had so many snacks! Do you guys go on outings on the weekends when there is no school? Love you!
wow, all of the pictures are amazing! It seems like you had a very fun-packed day =)! Thanks for putting the blog up, it definitely provides more information than your emails heehee.
love,

FUN, FUN, FUN Nihao Lihau,
Although I got to hear the story before, it was nice reading about it - you write very well! It was especially nice to see the pictures! I heard the story, but you forgot to tell me the part about the camera in the toilet - EUW! Good save though.
Keep up the good work, so we can all enjoy your China trip! Love you, mom
What an awesome experience! Hi, Lihau:
I really enjoyed reading about your experiences! Thank goodness you saved your camera because it would be a shame not to have one... I'm really impressed by the carving within a carving - you should get one of those for grandpa so he can make one, too.
Love, Aunty Ellen
