amazing! You're traveling as I right this (I think?) so good you did this--the South China Sea!! How are we here in rainy, cold, boring CT? Well, nice of you to ask--we suck!
safe trip! love,catherine
the tunnels, the skeleton, a shopping spree So, was Jacob the only one who didn't freak out and go crazy underground in those tunnels. Where people hiding and living down there during the war. It's creepy to think of it. Yeah, that skeleton is quite an image rolled up in his hammock with his weapon--it's sad to think he was probably so sick and scared he was praying to die. Have you read "The Things They Carried?" by Tim O'Brien? I'll copy the story into a private message. Carolyn better be buying presents on her crass shopping bender, that's all I can say!
i have heard Ted sing ....but never in a Karaoke environment. Too bad about the technical difficulties (yeah right) because i would have paid good money to see/hear it. All the best from Toronto! Dave and Liz
Looks like an amazing trip, an amazing place! Thanks again for the blog. And tell the kids (from their schoolmarm auntie Jen ;) that I am proud of them for keeping up with their studies.
Love you all,
Jen
fixing my dimensions Looking at the hotel room today I realized I was a bit off. I had assumed the tiles were 3x3 (1m x 1m) and that's way optimistic, I now think they are more like 2' as there i really only about 4' between the queen sized bed and the wall
sounds like a great trip Hello from Canada!
