Perth
a great place to stay in perth for travellers is in Northbridge, its where all the pubs and clubs are! there is a great backpackers called "the Underground" with a pool and bar and fantastic atmosphere, i met some really interesting people there, plus its within walking distance to northbridge and perth city, and its a reasonable price too. Dont forget Rottness island, its beautiful.

Lee: It's called an echidna. For those who have never heard of them, they're actually quite weird. They're monotremes (just like the platypus), which means they're egg laying mammals. Strange. They appear on the (tails side of the) five cent piece here.

hi lee. havent got anything to say realy, just a bit sad because the guys left for austrailer today and i could have been on that plane if i wasent so tided down to life in london. they fly to sydney first then drive to melborne where they will phone you so you can show hem the best joints in town. x x

Do what everybody else does !! Get with the program Lee !! Only kidding, how is life treating you bro, apart from having no money, shit nobody does!! I am working at the central blue mountain backpackers on my tod so as far as i can see it, its my hostel !! Everything here is all nice and relaxed and there is no lesbian nazi for a boss either, woo hoo. You havent given her your blog address have you? She still scares me a little !! Anyway sweet travels and I dare say i will pop in for a cuppa next time i am in Smelbourne. Ben :-)

Lee, I was here this weekend, but mainly just kicking back, going out with my uncle for his birthday and helping clean out my parents' garage. I'll be around next weekend if you want to catch up. Lee: No mention of Zlaty Bazant? Terrible! I'm sure I've seen other Czech beers here, although I could be mistaken. As for DAB spelt backwards -- it's BAD, which happens to be a hot spring in German, as in Kalsbad, the alternate name for Karlovy Vary (Charles' Hot Springs -- the famous Czech king). Remember what happened when you drank the supposedly "curative" water there? Maybe that's where DAB gets its water for brewing!

You didn’t specifiy what shat on you. I feel this detail could change the whole angle of your story. I imagine the culprit was proberly a bird but with out this information my ill informed imagination runs wild, do they have moneys in such warm climbs? Perhaps a antependia beast such as a Koala or a Possum did excrete on the hero or our tale and having never seen a Possum in the flesh to size the critter I fear the turd may have been of some size, a Possum pat? What if we assume the obvious and it was a simply bird faeces, then I ask- What kind of brid? True a British sparrow stool is noting to worry about but what about an albatross that has been feed on tourist tip-bits. I feel we have a right to this information. What if the defecator was merely a humming bird and I we have been duped in to pilling our sympathy on to an undeserving candidate.

KL info
Lee, check out the Tourist Information place in KL, the peeps there are really nice and run a range of excursions out of the city for a fraction of the price any other place will - also they can set you up with legit taxi drivers who wont skank you for stuff. Also, use the express train into town from the airport if you're flying its cheaper and faster. If you have time recommended trips are the fireflys - may sound a bit gay but v impressive as you go up a river at night and all the trees light up and you get to play with a troupe of grey monkeys on the way feeding em peanuts in an old castle. Also, closer to KL there is a temple built into a hillside with good audio stuff on what the heck all the Hindu stuff means. The Zoo is ok but not particularly special (except for the avairy you can walk into - wasnt all that impressed when I noticed there was nowt between me n the big bats tho). Have fun chief.
