Hotel
We stayed at the Hotel Carlton Opera at Schinkanedergasse 4. Our reservation was made using Wien-Tourismus. They were VERY helpful and great for last minute reservations!

Praha
I am so sad you had to write Praha out of your schedule. It's one of my favorite cities in Europe! I loved Salzburg though. We ate at a great restaurant called Das Shalmooser. I can see you are both having a great time! Hugs

One More Thing...
At the House of Music, one of the really neat exhibits that they had was a room that was setup to allow you to hear what a fetus hears in the womb. It was a really neat experience, especially given the current circumstances!!!

I'm keep hitting enter too fast :)
Well it seems like you are having a GREAT and adventure filled trip- I can't believe that you have been to all of those places. I can't prounounce half of them. Well I went on my trip to FL this past week. haha. Wasn't anything like what you have seen- no self-cleaning toliets - unless you count the cat that was licking one of them- just kidding.. haha. Anyways, glad that you guys are having such a great time and feeling better. Guess Keith didn't bring his Xango with him.. Love you three- send some pics- i need to see if your belly is getting any bigger- thanks. Love your little sis.

rome
I'm glad to hear that Rome is still your special place! I really had a blast with you there. Which of the guys were still at the bar/ice cream parlor? I guess you finally got to prove that you really were married! Reading about the other places you visited in Italy makes me really want to go back and see more, especially the northern part. Keith, take extra care of Keri and that precious baby! Love you both! -Marian

Cataluña
My family ancestry is actually from Cataluña. Which is why we are so white. :) My mom's grandmother moved from Spain to Cuba before my grandmother was born. My great-grandmother used to sing me nursery rhymes in Catalan when I was a baby. :)

Response to Bram
Yes, we definitely had a good night's sleep! We barely saw Mawgli (spelling???) since he was outside all of the time, but Plek (spelling?) kept us company. It was very night to have pets around to ease us into the non-American experience! Thank you again Bram!!!

Self-cleaning toilets
After the toilet finishes flushing, there is this little spongy-like robot/machine-thingy that comes out right by where the toilet seat is connected to the toilet itself and the entire toilet seat does a 360 degree spin while the sponge stays in place wiping the whole thing down! Pretty darn cool!

self-cleaning toilet etc.
Exactly how does the toilet clean itself? Some American toilets (Atlanta airport, I think) have a built-in plastic cover that with the push of a button rotates around and is never used again. Not exactly self-cleaning, but you get the same effect. Macy and the cats are doing fine, but you'd really think that Macy would have learned by now that barking at thunder and lightning doesn't make it stop.
