We arrived at Auckland airport to be greeted by an excited Tony! It was lovely to see a friend on the other side of the world, quite emotional for all involved. Tony may have been so excited due to the events he had secretly planned for us!!! We had only been in NZ for a few minutes when he announced that he had two fancy dress costumes with our names on for the party that we would be attending within less than an hour!! and that was how the trip continued…….from exciting adrenalin fuelled event to the next, hence the bungee jump the next morning to help us with our terrible hangovers from the free booze and the first of many ‘jagerbomb’ sessions. Morning All….we hope everyone is well! Well as ever we are late…..we left Fiji over 3 weeks ago and have only just got around to updating the blog! Fiji is definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to in the world so far, it’s so beautiful we actually got sick of the perfect scenery on occasion!! We started our journey, like most, in the capital Nadi which was ok but a bit of a dump! We got to experience some of the mainland life and the local market which was an abundance of fruit & veg and Kava. Hi all....our time in the USA is almost over, we're staying in a Travelodge near LA airport for a couple of nights and both fully appreciating a bed and clean shower after sleeping in the back of the van for 3 weeks!! Sorry if some of you get bored…they won’t all be as long as this!! Get yourselves a cup of coffee or beer (Marty D!) before you start reading….. June 23rd... Our first long haul flight-both had jetlag when we arrived in LA. Hacienda hotel....went for a walk to McDonalds-$1 menu was tempting Kit had lots just because they were so cheap!
