I was getting all sentimental again yesterday when I was running, listening to this song by Late Tuesday called "I Must Go" about leaving the place I'm at and going on a new road. You can buy it on Itunes for a buck and listen to it. It is the theme song for the year I decided. So much transition! I’m currently in Sacramento for my cousin Tiffany’s wedding, which is being held at a winery outside of town. Have been re-united with my dad, who’s hair is growing back after spontaneously shaving ALL of it off, a surprise to my mom 4 weeks ago which left her in tears! It’s been a blast seeing extended family and meeting a couple relatives I didn’t know i had. Erin came in this afternoon from Spokane, where she is almost finished with her Masters in Education. So, after the past few months in AK absolutely soaking up the newness of a snowy frozen place in the arctic, I have returned home to debrief and pack for these upcoming trips. The day I got back I attended the wedding of a friend in my occupational therapy class at UW. It was wonderful to see my classmates again and reminece old times from school. I’m new to this whole blog thing, but we’ll see how it goes. A week ago I was treasuring my last days in Alaska with a wonderful community of people I have come to know and love in the past year.
