Just like Dover
Hi Julie, I'm enjoying this summer's adventure. I have similar picture of the beach in Dover when we were there last spring. The stones make for interesting walking as they are not as stable as hard packed sand. Very pretty though.

Hi Joan, Yeah, most of the southern coast is like that with the rocks - pretty, but like you said, not ideal for walking. Hope you guys had a nice visit when you went! The UK holds a soft spot in my heart in terms of vacationing.

Hi Joan! Thanks - new place is great, I'm settling in now that I'm back in town. Cruise was East/West Caribbean - St Thomas, St Maarten, Bahamas, Mexico, Honduras. We were supposed to go to Belize as well but the hurricane got in the way ;) It was a great trip!

Congratulations, Julie. That must feel good to be "secure" after all your hard work. Are you teaching in French? I may well direct some questions your way. I haven't been to London since I was 21 and Dave has never been to Europe at all so will be fun. Joan

Hi Julie, I will miss your daily posting once you get back home. Always interesting and funny. I will be using it to do a bit of planning as we are going to Cornwall and London in the spring. Pembrokeshire Bus
Ha ha! Pembrokeshire bus system sounds like OC Transpo....bus comes once every half hour, except after 4pm where it comes only once an hour up to 7pm and then not again until 6am, except when it's on a "holiday schedule" etc etc. And shame on you, chasing goosies and cows. Tsk tsk.

It's a great part of the country
Pleased you enjoyed Haytor, despite the lack of footpath markers. My wife and I returned just a fortnight ago after a week at Haytor - blog (and photos of ponies!) will follow soon. Oh, and perhaps I should get around to completing my blogs of our five-week visit to your homeland in 2011 - omg was it really that long ago?! Enjoy the remainder of your stay in the UK.

Yes :) dragonflies love me, as I love them. I forgot to tell you. There was a flying, dancing bag in the Tube when I was in London. I kept a watchful eye on it as to not have a repeat of that childhood memory.
