Wounded Lion on the Mara
I also took some pics of a wounded lion on the mara this past Oct. Perhaps we could trade pictures to see if it is the same one?

Hi, thanks for the comment! we´re off to cuba next, im actually at the airport right now waiting for the flight. We accidently got here too early as its a sunday and there is no traffic so we got to the airport an hour earlier than intended, woops! Then after cuba we were intending to go to brazil for a month, but since we had Dengue Fever we were advised against going to the amazon :( so instead we´re heading straight for Uruguay, where Dario is from so we´ll spend extra time there and in argentina. How great is central america! did you have a favourite place on your trip?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog, stumbled upon it. I did a tour through Central America back in June with a friend of mine, we went from Honduras, through Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and ended in Panama. Wish you the best of luck, I will keep following. Where are you going next??

cheap belize
yeh, unfortunately its really hard to make it cheaply thru belize, we found the easiest way to save money was to cook for ourselves and only do tours when necassary, but u still end up paying twice as much as in nearby countries for almost everything.

love your journey details, you really can make a person feel like they are right there, i never purchased much in belize, and yes the taxi's charge alot for sure. we volunteered at the orphanage half day, will return but need to figure out how to do it on a budget

my boyfriend Dario and I are heading on a round the world trip. Im a wildlife junky as anyone who knows me will tell you, so I'm very excited about heading to places like Costa Rica and Madagascar. Dario is equally as excited, but maybe not so excited about the wildlife aspect as I am. I have pet pythons and a pet bearded dragon among normal pets like a dog :) ... full info
