Time has gone by way, way too fast. I have wanted to write for a while now, but things are crazy lately. Not really busy, just trying to spend as much time as possible with everyone before next week. I think my best option will be to write the things that have been going on, when I get back home and have a little bit of time. The last two days have been quite strange. I said a very sad goodbye to my students on Wednesday. I am still going to school for a month though. I hang out in the lounge or clean my classroom, which is so quiet now. It was very difficult to say goodbye to my students. They have taught me so much this year. The last few weeks have been flying by. I am not sure if it is because the year is coming to an end or if it's that everyone has had trips back home. Two weeks ago, Leigh Ann, Katie and I, took this amazing trip to Sambo Creek and Cayos Cachinos. I have been wanting to write about everything that happened there. But, here I am am two weeks later and still no blog about my incredible three weekend where I experienced so many new and amazing things. The last two weeks have been filled with many ups and downs. Luckily though, there have been more ups than downs. It is becoming harder to deny the fact that things are coming to an end. My eleven days off were truly amazing, as well as necessary. The last two weeks before vacation were a struggle for me. My students were giving me pretty hard time and I was just very burnt out, which is never a good mix. Pretty much everyone left for exotic locals, except for me of course. It has been almost two weeks since my last blog. Not that I haven't had a ton to write about, no, that wasn't the case at all. This past week and a half has been very, very long. Last week I only went to school one day, Tuesday. I was feeling pretty sick and considered going to school anyways. That was until I went to the doctors and found out that I wasn't allowed to return to school for the rest of the week. Turns out, I had two infections. That's all they say here, by the way. This past weekend will always be one of the most memorable weekends of my entire life. I know that I am still young and I have many more memories to be made, but this weekend was filled with so many moments that I will never forget. On Friday, Annie, Leighanne, Anthony and myself left school at last period to catch the rapidito to Siguatepeque and then from there catch the bus to Tela (Tay-la).
