I visited the recent Picasso exhibiton and was priviledged to see many of Piccasos art that made him famous. The exhibiton was at the TATE on the embankment...nearest tube is Pimlico. The art pieces also included were the artists that were influenced by Picassos work. I once met a guy who actually met with Picasso as an art student. His name was Arthewek Tekle. I met him on a mission station near lilongwe in Malawi. He made us a traditional ethiopian meal and told us of his story meeting Picasso amongst other stories of how it was like serivng under Haille Sellassie and the other guy...I think it was Mengistu. He was the arts and culture minister for Ethiopia ... anyway, he recently died but I thought his story about Picasso was worth telling. When he ... read more

BOLT FROM THE BLUE! Usain Bolt supports Malaria Campaign Yesterday I got to meet Usain Bolt. Hes very popular anywhere you go and he certainly has marketed his brand and is continuing to do so... he is so relaxed and comfortable with the promotional thing... and his face is recognisable to many people. I asked him for his autograph as its my sons birthday on the 9th of June... even though there is no justice in Great Britain, I will act appropriately as his father and I know one day we will be together again. Then , a different story will be told and the truth will come out. Usain Bolt is a great role model for the kids and for anyone hoping t... read more

dedicated to those whomade this possible - thank you- : dr parnes, marie parnes, martin behugiar, laura brickman, neena crinion , john burton, billy reid, yonne lewers, sarah viner, mervyn roberts and of course ella baran , ursula sienczak and ewelna denton Yesterday should be a cause of celebration to many around the world who believe in FREEDOM...yes, it was FREEDOM DAY... the day when South Africa was officially born...into a brave new world... It was also the birth of my daughter, Anastasia. She is 12 years old now. The tragedy of it is that I have been denied my freedom for the last 4 years. I hav not seen my children growing up. Nor am I there to see them through their problems. It is tragic that sometimes people are willing to sacrifice their dignity ... read more

MY HELL IN UK PRISON Dedictated to the following people who were all part of something so criminal and sinister I could hardly expect it possible in a country that claims to have freedom, justice and democracy. You were all part of doing something very evil and wrong and I firstly would like to say that I forgive you but secondly say that I shall not forget what you have doen and I hope the world will see what you have doen and you will be held to account for your crimes. Thus, without prejudice( why - because this is written by a 3rd party)... I nominate the following as public enemies: Ewelina Denton,Ela Baran, Ursula Sienczak,DC JP Wedger,Neena Crinion, Laura Brickman,Judge Mervyn Roberts, Dr. P. Parnes, J.Tarchikovski, K.Ruchinski,Marie Parnes-Simmonds,Yvonne Lewers,Martin Behugiar of The Harrow Times, ... read more

I grew up in South Africa. I have lost many friends to hijackings , assinations..etc. Many of them were purely random...some were hits. Johannesburg is a violent place... but its manageable- I never carried a gun and I walked everywhere - without fear...BUT,...I can understand Shriens anxiety. Will he get a fair and just trial? - or has he already been found guilty?... the answer in short is YES... In the minds of the media ... and the people hes guilty. But that doesnt make it so. If he is maintaining his innocence... he needs to prove it in court. Not only is he ruining his own life and reputation but others also.If he really loved his wife... then he should honour her memory by confronting the accusations in a court of law... LOOK- they dont ... read more

The problem is three fold. 1. Distrust of the establishment. eg the police/politicians and media. 2. Knowledge of the corrupt criminal justice system. 3. The state is "daddy." Lets look at this in more detail: 1.During the time of the riots when Cameron and co were sipping their cheval blanc 49 in the south of france and in tuscany... many scandals had hit the press... the expenses scandals, the phone hacking, the bankers taking the piss, the cuts, police bribe taking etc,,, now, although the riots began in Tottenham, North London ...they spread to other parts on britain due largely in part to the social media networks and the gang cultures of "if theyre doing it - we need to do it too !-people were just fed up... but,it was in large part a copy cat ... read more

"You cant get to heaven with an AK 47!"- or a bazooka... War...whats it good for? - absolutely nothing...! - My great grandfather fought in the Boer war; my grandfather in the Great war- the First World War, my grandmother was killed the blitz by a V2 rocket (March 6th , 1945)... my father and uncles were all involved in various wars (Malaysia,Korea,Angola)... and if I go back further, probably all my ancestors were fighting in some or another war - and yet... we still find reasons to go to war... and are proud of the slaughter..I.- at least partly and by the " greatful" royalists.... whose power we protect... I am proud of their bravery and courage...but I do not believe in war. It is and should always be the only option left ... read more

The race is on to beat the highest parachute freefall jump ever recorded. The Red Bull stratos project led by Felix Baumgartner is attempting to beat the currect record of 102,800 feet. But will he be the one to do it? Eli Shabak has the same dream... as do many others. But it will be the one who desires it most who will break this record. But what does this event mean? Why do it?... Simple. Because since the 60s there has been a block on the consciousness of man and his imagination. We havent sent a man to the moon since 1972. Neither have we sent another expediton to the deepest place on our planet- the Marianas trench for another 50 years... so whats wrong with us? Don Walsh, who conquered the Mariana trench in ... read more
