however, these assylum seekers have cut british wages, job opportunities are virtually nil, big bosses love it, paying very little to these people and getting away with it. low income workers have benefit top ups, draining more of the countries money, they ve swamped the nhs, there is no affordable housing. I am currently trying to find somewhere to live and the last house i applied for i was number 168 in the queue for it. All very well saying britain is a rich european country and everyone is welcome from all the world, in reality it doessnt work, our country is too small and extremly badly run by government, Britain is a sad depressed worn out country, no manufacturing hardly, a rubbish heap for the worlds scroungers. You cant call it great anymore just Britain, home of lost culture and benefit claimants. Do you think I am over exaggerating ? Love to hear your view Thanks

Hello, my name is Miss Georgina peckett, I\'m from USA. I want to inform you all that there is a spell caster that is genuine and real.I never really believed in any of these things but when I was losing Gilbert, I needed help and somewhere to turn badly. I found consultant.kalakuta spells and i ordered a LOVE SPELL. Several days later, my phone rang.Gilbert was his old self again and wanted to come back to me! Not only come back, the spell caster opened him up to how much I loved and needed him. Spell Casting isn\'t brainwashing, but they opened his eyes to how much we have to share together. I recommend you if you are in my old situation to try it. It will bring you a wonderful surprises as well as your lover back to you. The way things were meant to be. you can contact the spell caster on-- kalakutaspells@gmail.com he\'s very nice and great.

There have been a lot of warnings about the 'end of the world', and so many of the dates have come and gone. I am not so sure I will bother to disrupt my Christmas celebrations to rush to my favourite part to the world, for a last glimpse. Happy Christmas! :)

Wow - so much going on - lots to take in ...
This reminds me just a bit of my train journeys in India on 2 tours [with a group plus courier, or with at least one other white male Britisher, so I was protected] - but it seems much more chaotic in Tanzania & other parts of Africa. I saw those progs Michael Palin did for BBC-2 on the African railways... The indian trains are relatively well organised, and left within only a few hours of the allocated time! There was the rumbling, shunting, shouts, clanking over bridges, noisy stops in stations over night; of course I got talking with most of the people we met in the carriage - so unlike trains in dear old Blighty. We travelled 2nd class - this was more "authentic" we were told. I also experienced the first class - just a little more comfy, mainly due to better air-con & cleaner sheets. I got talking to young Indian students - who gave me their email addresses. They were interested when they heard I was a part time Uni lecturer - as I was then - in London, UK. Indian train loos were not that great - but we were only on it for one night - so I survived - mainly by holding on... and of course drinking bottled water... Both times in India I got Delhi belly though it was less bad the 2nd time - perhaps more immune? As a Britisher or white European man, I guess you get a different response - especially from the "laydeez". I was always aware of the need to have one's wits about one - not to flaunt one's possesions, like cameras, video cameras, i-Pod or MP3 players, money, cell phones etc. Just common sense! Your blog is so long I did not have time to read it all - but it was fascinating. Wonder how you got time to write it! I am coming to S. Africa on safari with an organised group in September '13 - probably using 4 x 4 jeeps, but it may well involve a train journey somewhere. Good fun!

Yeah I can deal with it, no worries... It's not about me anyway, but the fact that you really don't seem to know or understand much about Zanzibar, but still chose to go public with a lot of heavy rhetorics. During your world travels, haven't you ever noticed that things are usually a bit more complex than what they look like on the surface to us foreigners?

???
Now, what does sitting on the rooftop of Maru Maru (and getting there by Zanzibar's only functioning elevator YOU KNOW OF), drinking beer and listening to Cuban music have to do with Zanzibar??? The answer to that, it seems to me, is reflected in your whole writ: not too much, really. And the fact that you feel you've arrived on that rooftop and consider this to be Zanzibar is about the only excuse I can think of for spreading such ill informed, pompous and offensive comments about what you made of what you saw. What on earth makes you think you are in even the remotest sense qualified to comment on what Zanzibar does wrong and how they should do it???

I watch a video about a white man and his family in what was once called Rhodesia, who was having his land and farm equipment taken from him. All that he did pay for and own. Never mind the point being told he must go. I have watched other video of the same. How can this be called good? It is the same as saying that thievery is okay based on racial difference (i.e. prejudice). Or like telling a lot of the population in North, Central, & South America, that they now must leave and also leave most of their possessions if not all. Based on certain groups only having lived there hundreds of years ago. I am NOT for Apartheid, but what this is, is surely nothing better! Am I missing something (though I think NOT)? If the races were reversed I would be just as mad about it being wrong. And no race holds a monopoly of racism.

The word for \"white person\" is \"mzungu\" not \"masungu\". This is singular, and plural is \"wazungu\". Don't be too upset about this word: blame the so called \"explorers\" of the 19th century who made repeated, and apparently aimless journeys into the African interior. Ofcourse, the explorers were looking to colonise Africa, but the Africans did not know this.At that time, it seemed for the Africans that the white people were just wandering aimlessly in the African interior. The Africans did not know who was British, French, Portuguese or German, so they lumped them under the word \"wazungu\". This is an adjective of the verbs \"kuzunguka\" and \"kuzulula\". \"Kuzunguka\" means \"to go (walk) around and round\". \"Kuzulula\" means more or less the same, but with special emphasis on \"aimless wandering round and round\". Thus the etymology of \"mzungu\" is much nearer to two English words: \"vagabond\" and \"vagrant\". The nice beach in the North of Zanzibar is \"Nungwi\". Guerrila Travellers of repute must read maps and \"Lonely Planet\" and give correct spellings of places they've visited Lastly, you glibly avoided the Cold War factor and how it contributed to bad governance in Africa during the last 50 yrs. We started getting \"Crocodile\" Presidents because the west and the East did not care if someone was a thug, as long as he was \"our thug\". That's how apartheid took root in SA (to fight communism) and people like Mobutu, Idi Amin, Bedel Bokassa, Mengistu Haile Mariam etc, came to the fore!
