I first came to China as a study abroad student in pre-Olympic Beijing, then returned several months after graduation to travel around the country. I have taught English in Hawaii, Korea, and Guatemala. I completed my MA TESOL in December 2012 and moved to Shanghai.
I love teaching because it incorporates so many interesting elements: art, psychology, problem-solving, linguistics, and cross-cultural communication.
