Keep on pedaling! Hi George & Anna, most posts and photos please. Hope you are having a great time and the weather is cooperating. News from MDI-the bluebirds are busy building a nest in a box Tim built them. Guess they approve of the furnishings! It will be fun watching them. Thinking of you! Laurie

Knee Hi Steve! Good to hear from you! The knee is finally feeling better. Tomorrow I'll take a test ride and then Monday we'll hopefully be back on the road!!!! Have a good time in Ireland and stay in touch!!!
Tour Status Hi Mom and Bev!
Thanks! Yes luckily we're at a campground and staying in a basic cabin! They gave me a couple of bags of ice and I've been icing several times a day and taking Ibuprofen. It's starting to feel better, but certainly not ready to ride. We're going to stay through the weekend and luckily there's a grocery store a little over a mile from here so Anna's going to ride over this morning.
Love you all, George

Hello George from your IBM Friends Geroge, I just got your website and wanted to see how you were doing. We talk and wonder how you are doing. Your trip sounds great. Your name has come up in vain many times over the month but we all laugh and remember all the good times. We all miss you and wish you continued luck in your journey.
Retirement was so fun, I decided to do it again! After 8 years in Maine and 8 summers working as a bicycle mechanic, it's time for a change. My friend Anna retired and we decided to do a Nordic Tour. Our plan is to bicycle up the coast of Norway to Kirkenes and then south into Finland. We'll bike down to the head of the bay of Bothnia and then into Sweden. How long? We want to be home for the holidays!... full info
