Hi Bob! We're in Lititz PA trying to find an apartment and a car! Hopefully this won't take more than a couple of weeks. Once we get settled in we'll be heading to Maine for a week or two. I'll let you know when we'll be there as soon as we know!

Re: Where are you now? Hej George and Anna! Forgot to ask - did you celebrate midsommar last month? Have you tried any new foods? Looking forward to hearing your latest adventures. The new mechanic who took over for you quit on Friday, so once again we will be short-staffed in August. Hi Bob We did try a couple of things, but my blog post was so long I missed some things! I had a beer brewed at the Mack brewery in Tromso, the northern most brewery in Norway. We also tried reindeer and Arctic char. Both excellent. The beer was good but a little light for my taste.
We've been in the arctic so temps haven't gone above 45F. We're almost in Finland now and the temperature has moved into the 50's! Good luck this next month, sounds like it's going to be tough!

It is wonderful hearing from you. How are the legs holding up? Changhong is very happy in the apt. He puts out the garbage every Tues. & Friday. Goes to Boston every other Thursday. Miss you. Making c.chip cookies. Will give some to "charles". Cottages not renting. Horrible weather here.
Hi! Legs are holding up well! The riding is unbelievably beautiful, but it's in the low to mid 50's and rains every day! We beat the rain today by taking a bus. There was a mile long tunnel on our route that bicycles are not allowed in. Luckily a lady at the campground warned us about it and told us to take the bus. Good call, the tunnel was insane! Tomorrow we're back out in the rain.

Retirement was so fun, I decided to do it again! After 8 years in Maine and 8 summers working as a bicycle mechanic, it's time for a change. My friend Anna retired and we decided to do a Nordic Tour. Our plan is to bicycle up the coast of Norway to Kirkenes and then south into Finland. We'll bike down to the head of the bay of Bothnia and then into Sweden. How long? We want to be home for the holidays!... full info
