love the blog hey guys! looks like you're having a wonderful trip. LOVE the pic of you and the kids Astrid. How are you writing all this? Such a nice way to diary your amazing journey. Have fun and be safe. <3
HOLY COW! Hey Astrid, this trip sounds phenomenal! Part of me thinks it would be a good learning experience, the other part wants nothing to do with Vietnam. See, I'm old enough to remember the war and the anger in this country against Presidents Johnson and Nixon for keeping the US in a place where we clearly were not wanted. I also remember all of the POWs and MIAs. We used to wear bracelets with their names on them as a way of remembering the men (and women). Still its probably time for us to put away our pain and make overtures to Vietnam.
Looking forward to reading more from you.
Best, Amy

a long time ago to make travel a top prority in our lives. The first time we went to Europe we came back and said "I have changed, I am different now. And we thought it would never happen again.
Then we went to Turkey and we came back and we said we are different now, e have changed, and we can't believe it happened again.
