I don't know, you emigrate and still can't escape Lenny Henry. It was Lenny Henry that gave me the inspiration to get into stand-up. I saw Lenny Henry and had a revelation - you don't have to be funny to do stand-up! I dig the new ornathological bent to the blog - my advice to you is "keep on shaggin' kids"...

Thought you'd climbed it- must have been terrible trying to move from 2nd to third gear! Wot a pair of woosies- you can't cross it off your list until you've climbed it. Emma will of course need to grow the statutory beard for the pic with flag on top! Are you catching the olympics- hope you're supporting the brits even though you've traded your national identity to be kiwis!! Looks fab! LOL x

All looks great!! So jealous! I went skiing on top of Mount Ruapehu, it smelt so bad of eggs (due to its volcanic nature!) and I stayed in a tiny wooden hut at the bottom and almost froze to death!!! loved it though, keep enjoying yourselves!!X

... nice try kids... Emma's pic almost had me hoodwinked but then I spotted that she's sat on a Hilbre Island in West Kirby holding a bottle purchased from Bargain Booze on Sandy Lane. Also Tim has his foot on the REAR-WHEEL of a green vehicle and is playing a diminished 6th chord - this was always our "special sign" when we worked together that he was lying... You nearly had me there too... so, we've had a think around the office and here's our next two challenges: - We want a photograph of one of you holding hands with a local senior citizen who is mouthing the words "New Zealand".. the fact the person is not wearing a shell-suit will be good proof you are where you say you are... - We hear there are a few sheep there? So we want a photo of Tim being "friendly" with a sheep that is wearing sunglasses

Once again, beautiful scenery and a great looking backpackers. I think the bird in the picture is a Black-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus)

Congrats on completing the first part of your adventure.... is the phrase "making friends with the resident minature horses and a dog called Muttley" a strange local metaphor? I think this entire trip is an elaborate hoax.and that you're really holed up in a Birkenhead council flat. To prove me wrong, I request that there is a photo in the next blog showing Emma drinking a bottle of cold local beer whilst winking and wearing a hat of some sort. Also, I request a photo of Tim playing air guitar with his left foot resting the front wheel of a parked car - preferably a green car.
