Day X Day Sounds like you are doing awesome for just winging it. It is the best way to go by far. Some future plans are good but just let your feet tell you when you want to go. I usually get itchy feet after 4-5 days in the same place. There must be lots to see. Soooo can't wait to feel that heat all over me. I like it. Not so much the sweating constantly, but the absence of chill is wicked.
I miss you!!!! Hey deeeerno,
I miss you. Your pictures were great, i'll circulate them around so everyone can see!
Glad to hear your having a good time....it's making me wish I could come meet ya;)
Anyhow talk to you soon, lots of love Christine
Wish I was there too I went to a surfer comp in Australia, wow surfers are hot. I must say I watched the women as much as the men. It was inspiring and exciting to see people surf so well. Aerials and hang tens. So cool. Have you hit the black sand beaches yet? Where are they? How's the gear holding up?
Tenting it on the beach is awesome I did it for a week in OZ. Get up, do some streches in the sunrise and grab a board and hit he surf before breakfast. Life is good!
Wow Deryn, sounds like your having a great time. It's starting to warm up here but i don't think it's quite as warm as costa rica. I'm sure you will have lots of stories from your trip. Love you lots!!!!
Hey there Talking to his friends, probably telling them how hot you are. Sounds pretty surreal wit the shotgun and all. Good to meet people right away, i miss that about travelling. The ice is already broken by the fact that you are travelling alone in a foreign country. And the simple fact that you are in the cournty is a commonality that you can build on. Go wit da flow.
o my! wow...i dunno if I could deal with seeing a guy loading a gun like that. But, it sounds like luck is going your way so far. You are going to have a blast!! good luck and stay safe!
giddy up Craziness Deryn, Craziness. I can't believe you're in South America, I just saw you on Saturday! Sounds like the trip is going good so far, Vote for Pedro! Miss you already, talk to you soon!
Well I finished my degree last summer and tried out the working thing for a while. I quickly discovered that I´m not really into the whole working scene just yet. What better time to go on a little three month vacation? So here I am in Costa Rica, the first country on my trip up to Mexico. I´m travelling on my own, trying to learn Spanish, perfect surfing, meet some people, relax, see some monkeys and Mayan ruins, among many other things. You can´t ask for much more can you? I´d have to say it´s going pretty great so far, so I´ll see you all soon...if I decide to come back :)... full info
