Beautiful!
You make me wish I could see all that too. But I rejoice that you can. You were in pastorates so many years and tied down from week to week, year after year. So you could never take such pleasant unhurried trips. You probably remember Johanna (Heinrichs) Cowie that attended Grace. Her hubby Bruce died this week or was it last wk. Pastor Randy led him to the Lord and that night he went into a coma. Died 2 or 3 days later. I told you I am flying the 6th to NV to see my brother Edwin. Be back on the 11th. Love and be safe. Annie.

Seward
Seward and Homer were my favorite places for magnificant scenery. I am so glad that your weather was so good that you were able to experience it as we did. Tonight we had a wonderful BBQ at the clubhouse. Needless to say but the food was wonderful as usual! Missed you guys not being there but, oh well! I'm sure you were having the time of your life whereever you were!

Enjoying Your Blog.
We've enjoyed reading about your trip and only wish we had "Blog" when we did our North American trip back in 2000 - the pictures are great to see and we can picture you having an enormously good time - the pictues tell it all! We enjoyed the pictures & reading about Skagway, and yes, in the first week of September we ourselves will be a "Shipple" as we call in there on our Alaskan Cruise. Keep the photos coming!

Tok
We stayed at Tok two nights. One going and one coming back. Also started to drive into Valdez but a rain storm came in and after travelling about 60km in, we turned around because we new we would see nothing. Got a submit comment button tonight so was able to send this. I love seeing your pictures!! We had to get a new windshield when we got back plus have hood damage repaired. Oh, and we ate at Fast Eddys every chance we could get just because of that salad bar!! Good food! I get excited every time I see that there is an entry on my email from you! Keep up the good work. Lois..

Your Alaskan Adventure
Hi Lorraine and Dwain, We are enjoying following your Alaskan Adventure. You two certainly make great use of your RV. We were especially interested in the photos of Jasper as Cliff and I met there 40 years ago! This past week-end we were in Vancouver and at the Canada Place Cruise ship dock we saw a gigantic Holland American ship ready to set off on a cruise to Alaska. Your Alaskan Adventure looks much more interesting! The photos are really good especially the one of Dwain kissing a moose. Take Care! Cliff and Judy

So glad to hear you got into Salem okay despite the stormy weather. No doubt it is a very good feeling to be back in familiar territory. Say 'hi' to the rest of the family for us. Looking forward to some Thanksgiving Day pictures of everyone enjoying some turkey. Love you all. Miss you lots.

Back to you again.
Hi there! Glad to get your blog today. I am sooo glad you are able to do this trip. Stop and smell the roses like my brother says when he drives back to Canada from Nevada. That's what you are doing. I wrote you a note a few days ago but it did not get recorded. I was in Mission this morning @ Cedar Valley Menn. Church for a pancake breakfast. It is their 70th celebration. Lorraine, when I was in line to pick up my breakfast I was right behind your brother Ian. I recognized him & spoke to him and he said "They are in TX now." That was kind of nice to see him. Continue to enjoy your trip and your kids. God bless you. Annie Goertz.

Glad you are enjoying our travels with us. We are acting like a couple of kids!! Picked up a young man from Quebec who is hiking his way around Canada and the US. He spent the afternoon with us in Mesa Verde NP where we were climbing down into caverns to the early native dwellings on ancient stone steps and pole ladders. He called me the "{extreme grandma"!!

Great Trip
Hi Lorraine and Dwain Cliff and I are really enjoying following your trip on your blog. What a lot of wonderful scenery! It makes us want to copycat your trip. Lorraine your photos are amazing. You could get a job as a travel journalist for the National Park Service. You two seemed to have travelled so far and seen so much in only a week. I guess we are used to a "sailboat pace" in our travels. Take Care! Judy and Cliff
