With the price per barrel of oil at record highs, I was fortunate enough to find an environment friendly option... even though it may have cost a little more, I did get my moneys worth!
Lampang is known as Meuang Rot Ma (Horse Cart City). The last place in Thailand where this is still a mode of public transport. Mostly these horse carts used by tourists, who benefit from a less rushed and unobstructed view of Lampang city. There are various routes, among them, one that goes along the Wang River.
