Napoleon never had a waterbed Dear Devin, I just saw your blog about your time with Anna :-))) very cute--- thank you for all your nice words-- hope you are well--- bis hug, Barbara
Bavaria is the Texas of Germany This is too funny. Eventually won't dislike Texas so much. Probably when Nebraska has been in the Big 10 for about 20 years.
Haha! I know! Matti and Christian are hilarious! I they had so many but I either couldn't remember them by the time I got to my blog, or they were in German! Uhg! But Henrik and Karin were full of great quotes all evening long. There are so many times where I just wish there was someone else here to hear all this stuff, its priceless!!
Great Quote "Well, I understood about half of what was going on. I don’t even know what this story is about.”
Hilarious!! Christian and Matti are geniuses with one liners. When Christian visited us this year, he was talking about his wallet, "I think it is funny how large my purse is. Oh wait, I'm not supposed to call it a purse, correct? Damn!"
I'm finally catching up on your blog posts. Took a little while. I would have done it in while I was in Estes, but unfortunately I forgot to steal my mom's laptop - Borrow! Borrow, her laptop...Yes, borrow...
DEVIN!! I loved this blog!! You just seem so happy, and that makes me happy!! =) It is most wonderful that you've gotten to know your family better! What a blessing! Plus, Germany seems like a pretty sweet place. =) =) =)
Feliz cumpleanos a mi! Thanks for the birthday cardS! I never thought I would get 2 from one person. Then again, I am pretty awesome. Me and the lady will be sending you a card sometime soon. Just gotta find a good one.
Your blog service quit notifying me...sorry, that\'s why I haven\'t been \"commenting.\" I\'ll just have to check \"manually.\"
Carmen ate bad seafood last night after Carlea\'s appearance in State Golf Championship. (She finished in the middle of the pack. Good for her freshmen year and first attempt at golfing!) So Carmen texted me 6:15am today, could I go in early for her! Sheesh, I flew into action...had a crazy busy morning too. TEEZA rocks!
I\'ve rested now, so will walk dogs! Going to supper at Dos tonight! Love you! Aunt T
¿Rumbo a París? Qué bien que estés disfrutando, Devin. Suerte en París, me encantaría conocerla algún día.
Aprovecha y prueba de todas las comidas, a Patry y mí se nos hace la boca agua por la comida española.
Un abrazo.
Those legs... Devin,
Truly epic day on both sides of the pond! It was truly an adventure and I'm glad that you and Hayley were able to partake in our por mandario sojourn. There truly was never a dull moment, but i wonder if the photographer could've taken that pic at a more inopportune time. Hey, at least the Euros aren't afraid of a little skin.
Love,
Sean aka Hot Legs
I just emailed you, using your Clemson email address. Then thought you might\'ve changed & I forgot. Soooo I will repeat myself! We were up at 5am, runners left at 5:30 for Lincoln. Heather is updating me. They placed pics of you & Kyle in the van. Collin Lindley replaced John Matson...Collins new nickname: C-Train. Cute! They\'re having fun.
I\'m picking up g-kids at 3. We\'ll meet FLIK Who at the finish line!
Love you! Aunt T
STARBUCKS?! Ugh. Starbucks. You have cut me to the quick. ;) Glad you liked Sevilla so much. Been a busy week, working, dog-sitting for friend, Ruth...now I have 4 dogs. Added Chihuahua, Sidney, to the pack. The little Spanish gal fits in well.
Tomorrow is M2M...making spaghetti for supper. Making sandwiches for the runners. Collin Lindley is replacing John Matson.
Love you Devin! Aunt T
When in Spain... Dev,
Thanks for the post card! It is great to hear from you & i love reading the blog. I hope you live every moment of your stay because it can truly be an enlightening experience. BTW, the boys are pretty freaked out by your locale; WAAAAY to close to sharkville! Be careful out there! Love ya and have a blast.
P.S. Send good Spanish vibes our way on 10/1, we'll need it...
M2M in Spain Devin, this blog brings tears to my eyes. Honey, your mamma is so proud of you. You\'re every bit as much a member of our family M2M team, you will be with us in spirit...just running your segments in Spain.
Day by Day You will really comprehend the culture shock our german(Italian, etc) kids experienced during their time with our families...That'll make you a wonderful "host mom" someday! Ha! Every day will have its own challenges AND blessings. God is always there in the midst of every tear, uplifting you. That's how I live day by day....
Devin - I have never blogged. I love what you write. It makes me feel connected to you on a daily basis. Your observations about Chiara are right on and inciteful. Hang in there. Your home situation will get better - you are just finding out the ground rules. Mom and I are getting used to our quiet house. Love you! Dad.
A Day in the Rockies, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Loved reading your blog and viewing the pics. Sorry your family is starving you. Glad MY German kids could eat MY food! Ha!
