Twenty Friends Project - o-henro Shikoku Japan

Every two years a new unique adventure helps keep the spirit alive. Something I have not tried or done before but that stirs the imagination and possibilities. The 88 Temple Pilgrimage in Shikoku Japan joins together hiking, Buddhist philosophy and curiosity in a way I think will be wonderful. While there is much available about the o-henro pilgrimage I have found for most unique adventures it is the actual experience that turns out to be something never anticipated.
But as I don't speak Japanese or know much about the culture or country in any depth it will be special. I look forward to seeing some special people I know there already - Yumi, Yu and Ai and perhaps a couple of others.
But mostly it is a journey into the emotional and physical unknown and that will make it all the more special.
