Missing Botswana

Pick ne up off the floor
So the opening lines of this blog have knocked me off my feet..I must have read it wrong..a meal prepared by Mike S..a cooked meal? not out of a tin? surely not..boy is he going to be popular when he gets home..sounds like I'm in for some treats (culinary of course)! Well done for such brilliant coaching..how rewarding.

Jealous (I think)
Hi Will and team, I know from our experience in Rwanda that all the chaos that occurs is out weighed by the smiling faces of the kids and the sheer enjoyment that the game provides. The blogs are great and despite all the issues you have had to face everyone seems to be having a great time. All the Rwandan team are still recovering from the experience in a nice way (only one of us had been before and we are in awe of what can be achieved) and want to wish you every success for the rest of the tour. Keep on, keepin' on. Ian

Hi Allan I’m glad everything is going well and you have recovered your kit!! Its bloody freezing here (I’m sure it’s just as bad in the sunny South East.....) I don’t think you are going to cope on your return! I haven’t had a chance to catch up with Mrs Parker-Read this week as she’s been busy running around after the kids as usual. Half term this week so I’ll give her a call and check she is coping without you. I hope the next week goes well. Good luck! See you soon .... Laura x

Hi Allan, so proud of you and miss you loads (and veronika! lol) . It is freezing here at the mo the heating bill will be through the roof! Tammy backed into my car the other day but don't worry i've told her i'm claiming! lol. Amber has redeemed herself today by getting a really good report from school, so we're freinds again now! Evie-mae is really poorly so i'm keeping her dosed up and i've got Harry doing the hoovering so all in all we're just about coping! Hope you're having an amazing time, love you more than ever xxxxxxxxxx

It's brilliant hearing what you're up to each day..can almost feel the sweat running down my face, the dust in my eyes, ears and just about everywhere else and the sheer exhaution at the end of the day that just makes you smile when you consider what you've acheived..and that first beer mmm. You've probably guessed how much I wish I was there too my cwb trip to Kenya taught me so much (mostly about myself!) Keep up the good work..good luck on the bag front Adrian..think I'll have a beer.. just to toast you lot of course!

Though its stressful not to get the baggages in time which even made CWB to change their full name from Cric Without Boundaries to Cric without Baggages, its nice to see the enthusiasm and commitment of CWB team to make a comeback and explore more avenues to support the development of cricket in Botswana with their own caption of bowling aids away from Botswana. Wish you all the best!!

Improvident improvision
Some ideas to solve your dilemmae. Stoolball..the ancester of cricket was played using a milking stool (3 legs = 3 stumps) the bat was a butter pat and the ball was cow dung rolled round in palms into a sphere and baked dry..hope this helps ps.please wash your hands after making the dung balls. pps wish I was there with you making this all work..my trip to Kenya changed my life ppps Michael S ILYITF.

Not finished just yet, Stratford's link with Zimbabwe resulted in his first training session at the Hellenic School on Monday. Kids loved the enthusiastic and different coaching method and all had a great afternoon!!! Englishman teaching at a Greek school in Africa ? (possible title of a book) Met the prime-minister yesterday and delegates today who are all interested in the CWB project!!!
