On the road for a week; my gosh.... Hello from Bakersfield, CA; Since my last post, we have stayed in Red Bluff and Turlock, CA. Both nights were spent at the Moose club; $10 a night charge to park and use their power and water. People have been very nice. In fact , in Red Bluff, a man named Ron went back to his house, printed us out some maps, and brought them to us the next morning. I hope we are as friendly at our lodge when out of towners come in!! Coming over the Siskyous was fine; no snow; in mountain passes until well after Shasta; Ate up the fuel; Curt is a good 4 -5 hour driver; we usually leave around 10 and park around 3.
