glad u got the gun thing out of ur way seems like u enjoyed it,i hated to see u go these places but u seem to totaly enjoying it so we r proud of u . miss u lots counting the days til u get to scotland,england ect the normal places. it really does all look very interesting and exciting ur blog is very intriging i wait with baited breath for the next one love ya babe mom n dad this blog is really awesome i feel like im there

Belly is doing fine so far but I'm sure I will be dealt at least one unpleasant food experience at some point. I'm glad your enjoying my blogs, hopefully I have some fun ones in the future. I hope your still keeping Perth rock n roll girl!

I thought this joke said it all...
During a flood in a small town, a young girl was perched on top of a house with a little boy. As they sat watching articles float by in the water, they noticed an old sweat-stained hat go past. Suddenly, the hat turned and came back, then turned around and went downstream. After it had gone some distance, again it turned and came back. They watched as it did this a number of times. "Do you see that hat?" said the girl in amazement. "First it goes downstream, then turns around and comes back, then it goes back downstream and then it comes back again." "Oh, it isn't that amazing, it's only my Dad," replied the boy. "This morning my Mum said that come hell or high water, he had to mow the lawn today."

Happy Bus
Last time I saw the Happy Bus was while we were on the way into Nimbin being chased by a bikie gang and it came hurtling down the road filled with Very Happy tourists on the way back to Byron rounding a corner at some speed and managing to get up on two wheels as it did so in some peril of toppling over into the scrub.

I was in the standing area for this concert - and the stage was simply amazing. It was a huge difference from the modest show they gave at their first ever Brisbane concert back in 1984. Nice photo!

we miss you
yes son one year is a long time but you seem to be enjoying and that was the plan i am so proud of you making a plan and staying with it even though you must have wanted to change gears at some point we really miss you i dont think you should come home if you dont want to but a little visit in person would be nice a little hug or touch. but not much longer some of your pictures are awesome cant wait to see them all. things around here change too as boring as it is this wedding is keeping my thoughts busy lately plus dads 60th and you coming home has my summer pretty well wrapped up not to mention a new job different hours .if you need to use out of you account go ahead i will cover some dad is heavy into truck shopping these days

Thanks for reading my blogs. I don't remember what company I booked with. I went to Te Anua and there were only two operators working at the time (it was winter). A large company and a small one (i chose the small one). I paid around $140 nz for the tour (it was on special). As far as the canoe, I beleive you can take a tour that includes a little kayaking in the sound, but I think its only in summer. Sorry that I can't give you any detailed information. Have fun in New Zealand.

Question about Doubtful Sound.
Hi. I just want to tell you quickly that it is pretty interesting the way you write your blog and I hope you keep traveling and writing. Your pics are very good too. Me and my parter are traveling NZ at the moment and I look for suggestions on blog traveleres that have gone to the places in aour "to go list". I just wanted to ask you what company you booked your adventure to Doubtful Sound with and how much it cost you. I am just researching to make it there and All I find is quite pricey. I would really appreciate if you could give me a hint. We are planing to get there meaybe with in the next month and would love to canoe the sound but there again I can't find a company that would rent a canoe for 4 or 5 days...like a canoe campin g kind of trip..if you know anything..

this is so amazing i am totally alost for words as to how we could produce two of the most brillant kids this world will ever see. the fact that you set up a plan and accomplished so much at such a young age is really mind blowing. few people rarely get things done just as they mapped . so far so good it just gets better from here you are a old pro at getting it done and done your way .only people that get to do it thier way are truly happy. but its been said the things we dont plan are usually our best memories. so you got 50 or so years to decide which way is best.i bet it works out about 50\50. you are awesome i am proud to call you my son. love you dearly mom
