On October 20th, 2010, myself and 13 other students embarked on an amazing and educational journey to New York City. While our trip lasted only 5 days (2 of the days being travel days), we were still able to attend seminars and meet with influential people in the broadcasting world. The Paley Center for Media Our first seminar was at the Paley Center for Media where we talked about Political Advertising, also known as the “fine art of persuasion”. Our class had the chance to review some archived video and learn about the history of political advertising, as well as the techniques.
