Your blogs are very entertaining. One correction if I may. The amphitheater was built in the Ancient Greek time, long before the Romans came. Plovdiv or Puldin as the Slavs called it was founded by the father of Alexander the Great, Phillip the Second, hence the original name of the city - Phillipopolis.
