| 4th November 2007 kat and steve | There was time.... - From: Park Ambue Ari We were there too.... We had to say goodbye. We miss it sooo much. At every moment we lived, life was new. How are Inti and Vanesso??? Really hope they even cooler than when we parted... To hear the howl of the howler monkey was surely to hear the howl of life. To have Zandro and Naomis commitment to these beautiful animals through rain and shine is such an insperation in life. We salute them... Kat and Steve xxx |

| 25th June 2007 John | Awesome - From: Back to La Paz, Death road and jungle living Have now settled down to read all your last three entries - amazing. I loved the pictures, especially the ones of you!! and all the detail. It seems such an incredibly long way away from London and Oxford, such a totally different world, and it is hard to imagine how you have adapted to it all. Fantastic to know that Mum is there safely, and that you survived your very scary bike ride. I hope the next two weeks is a great success - as Jo says, have a good but safe time adventuring! Although after what you have been through, not sure you know the meaning of the word safe any more!! All love Dad. |
| 24th June 2007 chariotravels | Your presence is missed! - From: Back to La Paz, Death road and jungle living Thanks! Was pretty cool, I liked the strawberries but not the bired wire meat. Mum and I just went to an ancient ruins, send you our love! Off to the Salt flats this evening, mum is hardier than even I expected! |
| 23rd June 2007 Jo | !!!! - From: Back to La Paz, Death road and jungle living Sheuw, gods it all sounds amazing and also terrifying! Giant spiders on your tent?? No soap?? Eating meat strips that have been hanging up on barbed wire??? I love the sound of the hills of wild strawberries. And cooking people pizza - it reminds me of when Emma and I made pasta and tomato sauce for everybody in the Nepalese hostel, and after ALOT of suspicion at what exactly we were doing to the kitchen it was much enjoyed. :-) Lisa and Galen's work sounds really fantastic. Hope you had a lovely time in the mountain hut, have a very well deserved break and you and Mum stay adventurously safe!!! xx |
| 11th June 2007 John | ARRGHH from readers - From: ARRGHH Well, not quite as scary reading about your journey as actually doing it, but blimey, I am filled with admiration and awe, and not a little anxiety on your behalf! Very glad you are back in Sucre and that you have a bed at last. Found all the photos on previous blogs very interesting, and also great to have Lisa's photos too. It does give us a sense of what it is like. Longing to hear all news about the journey you have been on for the last fortnight. And plans for the next journey!! So sorry you lost your long piece - nothing more distressing and upsetting than losing something that has taken you a long time to write. But don't give up. When you are rested please do write it out again. All your readers and fans wil be eternally grateful! And it will be so good for you as a record of all that is happening. If you see Lisa again please send my best wishes, and hope her ear infection clears up soon. All love Dadx |

| 17th May 2007 Jo | - From: Return to Sucre Wow it sounds amazing, especially Puka Puka. I met a Bah'ai guy in Prague, it's a fascinating faith. Really interesting that it could become the primary religion in just 24 years. It sounds like what Lisa and Galen is doing is something really valuable - so it must be great to be involved in it. Hope food gets edibler- or you get more used to it! :-) Did you find the witch market yet?? |
