Yes, a fascinating day! The art installation is unusual to say the least:) The park looks so peaceful. And the Buddhas...beautiful, of course!

Beautiful Duomo...goodness!!! quite the details!!! And...REAL candles!!! The hotel room is lovely...must be the light yellow colour:)

The Cinema Museum seems quite interesting, with props and all (Tweety bird's cage...too cute:) I guess I would be impressed to see the Shroud of Turin...even if only a copy. Now, what happened to good old fashioned candles??? Oh well, I guess one must go with the flow and embrace progress:)

Beautiful churches! Strange though to see two almost identical churches on each side of a street...very religious country. Lovely art...I love the statues, angels and all. And yes, the three little old ladies are definitely the cutest!:) Ciao Ciao~
14th May 2011

Oh yes! Nice is definitely nice! Love the Russian church. I am sure the phote does not really do it justice. And the "trompe l'oeil"...you know how the "library" in the Montreal train station never ceases to get my attention:) Lily-of-the-valley...love those humble flowers! And what about the "Boîte à Voeux" It was nice that you were there on 01 May to capture a "esprit de fête"

Fontaine parfumée...oh my! Think I would have loved to visit this place...you know how I love all those scents and perfumes! And that lunch you had looks pretty yummy. Wonder if you miss poutine?:)

Beautiful roses! Beautiful scenery! And yes, I could spend some time in that Japanese garden! The Grand-Prix must be quite impressive but hey, what can I say, I am more of a Zen person myself:) And the adventure continues...
9th May 2011

Yes, Nice is nice:) Lovely photos as always. I love the little rosebuds. And the dress made of recycled bottles..hhmm...interesting to say the least:)

Here I am, still in Marseille. Looks like a lovely place! The Château d'If reminds me of the "Fort Boyard" show I used to watch:) Amazing photos! Keep enjoying...carpe diem:)

Cinema Museum
Hey Barb ... you would have loved it. The photos do not do it justice. The Temple Hall is just out of this world. They have really done an amazing job putting this museum together.

A-en-P
I'm a bit behind here, clearly... I have a shirt from Aix-en-province, bought for me by Christine's grandmother when she went. Wearing it at the gym once, a lady stopped me to ask if I'd ever been (I assumed that she wanted to feel my traps but was mistaken). I explained that I had not. She wouldn't stop talking to me about the place, how much I would love it, how great the people are, etc. Eventually, I had to return to my 120 pound curls but she raved about it for quite a while. The moral of the story? Don't buy me a shirt there, I already have one.

Oh my! the blog got quite a facelift. Very nice but this creature of habit here must get used to it. I will probably be fine by the time you come back home:) Anyway... Marseille is lovely. And yes, a far cry from Paris and Lyon. Love the photos with the fishermen! I recognize the view from your hotel balcony...of course:) It's almost as if you had packed me in your suitcase and take me out once a day...just like the green M&M:) Stay safe and keep enjoying all there is to enjoy!
