After leaving DC, we stopped in Richmond, VA for a less touristy experience, viewing the Capitol. After, on our way to Lexington, SC, we had a car accident right near the North Carolina border, leaving us car-less, and giving Can an experience that even a number of Americans will never have. We arrived back in Syracuse on Thursday night, after a brief stop in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania to view the old battlegrounds and burial sites. Since we weren't able to have our camping experience, yet, we set up the tent in Katy's backyard and have been sleeping there ever since. Yesterday, we went to the Syracuse Greek Festival, where Katy was educated on how the dances, food, and culture that she had been led to believe is Greek...is actually Turkish!
