casting off nice quote. my sentiments exactly.
gotta take her out to sea
and brave the weather that will be
and feel the wind that makes you spin
that blows you 'round
and keeps you free.
Now I know Thanks Caitie, my 16yr old daughter is flying to NZ to do the Kepler track in April, and as a mum I was worried. But now I read your trip I feel better, and hope you enjoy all your other planned adventures.
hey Caitie: that Kepler track sounded great but as your mom it sounded scary, too. I know you're sick of me saying this but BE CAREFUL. I love you..happy valentine's day.
*sigh* You two are beautiful and New Zealand is gorgeous. I know I've talked to you since your trip, but I wanted to tell you again how much I love you! Reading this blog makes me happy :). PS-Your hair is just fabulous, Cait. hehe ;)
Great sneaky job Melissa !!! Those pictures were the best. Thank you for posting them. I think world travel agrees with both of you. I would make it a priority as you move through life!!! Hope to see you soon Melis. Love, Lisa
ahh I love the secret entry Spencer! And what you wrote, "i know that everytime i read this blog, i wish for more pictures of what i really care about--caitlin," is the most adorable thing I've heard in quite some time! I loved the pix. Looks like you had an amazing time!
hi girls Glad you are both together and so happy. I have to admit I'm a little (a lot) jealous. We went for our customary dip in the Atlantic oceean to welcome 2006. No one had a heart attack so I guess we're good for another year...air temp was 18 and water temp 39. Miss you guys...have fun!!!Love, Mom
Breathtaking Hi! Enjoy it all. I love reading about your experiences and the photos are awesome. As I sit here working with the space heater blasting I envy the beaches and the views and the warm weather.
A happy New Year this weekend.

I admire you... Hi Caitlin! So happy to hear that you are having a stellar time travelling and self-reflecting. I must say, as I sit here and pull my hair out over my Master's thesis this semester in grad school, I enjoy reading your travel blogs nearly everyday as each one brings me back to my sanity. I imagine being in those magnificant spots that you describe so well and keep cheering you on, because I admire what you're doing! Love ya girl and keep treking..
