The area looks so alive, I can't imagine what it s like in person! The colors, the architecture, the different textures-awesome! Must add-creme brulee - my fav- probably shouldn't have looked at that until after I ate my breakfast. Toast and a boiled egg just doesn't seem so appetizing right now. mmmph. Your pictures are amazing and I am so glad that you are having a great time! I still remember that one church as one of my favorite parts of Barcelona when I was there 35 years ago!!! Apple Strudel
Greetings! I went on the Sound of Music tour back in the 90's and also had the strudel at the stop by the church. I was just sitting here today thinking that I would like to try and make apple strudel and was immediately reminded of the best I ever had and did a search to see if I could find the name of that cafe in Austria (or was it in Germany? Such a long drive there). I didn't find the cafe or restaurant but was lucky to find your blog and see the picture of that mouthwatering strudel. I enjoyed reading about your trip. Cheers! Marie
